7/8 GIRLS FLOORBALL: Mandatory practice Thursday January 22nd from 3:10 - 4:15.

7/8 REACH FOR THE TOP: There will be a mandatory meeting for ALL Reach for the Top participants in Ms. Curtis' room (Rm. 233) TODAY at 12:40. You will be going outside after the short meeting.

DRIVER EDUCATION PROGRAM: Registration forms for the Winter 2009 session are now available in Student Services. Students may register either by mailing/dropping off the registration form to the Continuing Education Department (570 West Hunt Club Road), or by calling 613-228-3338 to register with Visa or MasterCard payment. In-class lessons start Wednesday, February 25th from 3:15pm to 5:45pm in Room 100.

LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS: Farley Mowat Public School is hosting a Family Fun Dance on Thursday, February 12th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and volunteers are needed from 5pm-9pm to help set-up, to work the concession stands and bake sale, take tickets at the door and supervise a coloring corner. 7/8 BOYS BASKETBALL: Reminder to Grade 7/8 boys trying out for the basketball team that there are practices TODAY and Thursday after school, from 3:10 to 4:15.

Study Skills Workshop: The Study Skills Workshop is being held today during high school lunch in Room 209. Please bring your lunch.

7/8 GIRLS VOLLEYBALL:
The following girls have made it through the first cut in tryouts for junior volleyball. Our next and final tryout is on Wednesday, January 21st Jan 21st at 7:30 am. This will be our chance to do our final cuts to the team.

THE IRISH EXPERIENCE: The Irish Experience is a summer program (in July) for students who wish to obtain Gr. 11 and 12 Ontario Ministry of Education credits in English, History and Math in Ireland. All courses are taught by certified Ontario teachers. There will be an information meeting for interested students and their parents at the Greenboro Public Library, 363 Lorry Greenberg Drive TONIGHT at 7:00 p.m.

H.S. INTRAMURAL FLOOR HOCKEY: If you are interested in scorekeeping for intramurals, please see Miss. Kuchma ASAP. Community Service hours will be awarded.

LOOKING FOR A TUTOR: Looking for a mature, energetic and enthusiastic tutor to work with a 9-year old, high-functioning, autistic boy to improve his reading and writing skills, to prepare him for science and social study tests, and to help with his homework. Training will be provided. Time: Everyday from 3:15 to 5:30. Place: 76 Sunvale Way, Barrhaven. Salary: minimum $10/hour, possibly increasing to $11/hour.
