Just a Reminder to anyone with an Epipen in the main office. For students in Grade 7/8 please pick up anytime from June 23-25th. For High School Students please pick up anytime after June 16th. (DD June 25)

No Cafeteria Service: Just a reminder that there will be no Cafeteria service for High School Students during exams (June 17-24). It will be open for 7/8 lunch only. (MR June 24)

CAF SERVICE: The cafeteria will be closed for 7/8 lunch on Thursday June 18th (Calypso), and will be open for 7/8 lunch on June 24th with limited selection. (MR June 24)

Registration forms are now available in Student Services. Register May 1st to June 25th through your Student Services Department. All registration forms must be signed by you, a parent/guardian and your counsellor. If unable to do so before June 25th, you will have to do so in person, on June 29th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at St. Nicholas Adult High School located at 893 Admiral Avenue.

· The Numeracy/Literacy Summer School Program is for students currently in Grade 6, 7 or 8.These courses are designed to enhance the English and Mathematics skills of students who are at level 2 or lower.  Students receive encouragement, gain confidence and learn how to improve organizational skills required at the Grade 7, 8 or 9 levels. (KW June 24)

Touch A Truck: Lincoln Heights Mall, June 21, 2015, 7:00am-5:00pm (Students can do all these hours or just do a shift) Duties could include: Set up, take down, crafts, greeting children on the trucks, supervising crowds, etc.... Grade 11 Students- Interested In Visiting Halifax? Ottawa Music Expo: We are currently looking for new volunteers for our exciting event taking place during the Music & Beyond festival on July 5, 2015. The volunteer team will assist with workshops, handing out brochures and balloons along the canal to encourage families to attend the Ottawa Music Expo. There will be many volunteer opportunities available including set up and tear down of the event so feel free to contact our volunteer coordinator who will work with you to find a position that you are interested in. Volunteers Needed For Monsignor Paul Baxter: School Year-end BBQ on Friday, June 19th We have a number of volunteer opportunities for students who would like to complete their community service hours – including a number of fun games that we would like students to lead for us. We’ve outlined the available tasks and shifts below and would ask you to visit http://vols.pt/s3XfiL before June 15th to sign up. Please feel free to sign up for as many shifts as you can cover.  

· Set up (Shifts: 3-5pm)

o Assist with various aspects of setting up the BBQ: getting games ready, preparing for the BBQ, preparing the cotton candy, popcorn (including pre-popping), and selling SnoCones, and more.

· Cotton Candy (Shifts: 5-5:30, 5:30-6, 6-6:30, 6:30-7, 7-7:30, 7:30-8)

o Making and selling Cotton Candy.

· Popcorn (Shifts: 5-5:30, 5:30-6, 6-6:30, 6:30-7, 7-7:30, 7:30-8)

2015 Summer School Program From The Ottawa Catholic School Board:.

Registration forms are now available in Student Services. Register May 1st to June 25th through your Student Services Department. All registration forms must be signed by you, a parent/guardian and your counsellor. If unable to do so before June 25th, you will have to do so in person, on June 29th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at St. Nicholas Adult High School located at 893 Admiral Avenue.

· The Numeracy/Literacy Summer School Program is for students currently in Grade 6, 7 or 8.These courses are designed to enhance the English and Mathematics skills of students who are at level 2 or lower.  Students receive encouragement, gain confidence and learn how to improve organizational skills required at the Grade 7, 8 or 9 levels. Volunteers Needed For Monsignor Paul Baxter: School Year-end BBQ on Friday, June 19th We have a number of volunteer opportunities for students who would like to complete their community service hours – including a number of fun games that we would like students to lead for us. · Set up (Shifts: 3-5pm)

o Assist with various aspects of setting up the BBQ: getting games ready, preparing for the BBQ, preparing the cotton candy, popcorn (including pre-popping), and selling SnoCones, and more.

· Cotton Candy (Shifts: 5-5:30, 5:30-6, 6-6:30, 6:30-7, 7-7:30, 7:30-8)

o Making and selling Cotton Candy.

Register May 1st to June 25th through your Student Services Department. All registration forms must be signed by you, a parent/guardian and your counsellor. If unable to do so before June 25th, you will have to do so in person, on June 29th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at St. Nicholas Adult High School located at 893 Admiral Avenue.
·         The Numeracy/Literacy Summer School Program is for students currently in Grade 6, 7 or 8.These courses are designed to enhance the English and Mathematics skills of students who are at level 2 or lower.  Students receive encouragement, gain confidence and learn how to improve organizational skills required at the Grade 7, 8 or 9 levels. VOLUNETEERS NEEDED FOR MONSIGNOR PAUL BAXTER School Year-end BBQ on Friday, June 19th We have a number of volunteer opportunities for students who would like to complete their community service hours – including a number of fun games that we would like students to lead for us. We’ve outlined the available tasks and shifts below and would ask you to visit http://vols.pt/s3XfiL before June 15th to sign up. Please feel free to sign up for as many shifts as you can cover.   
·         Set up (Shifts: 3-5pm)
o   Assist with various aspects of setting up the BBQ: getting games ready, preparing for the BBQ, preparing the cotton candy, popcorn (including pre-popping), and selling SnoCones, and more.
·         Cotton Candy (Shifts: 5-5:30, 5:30-6, 6-6:30, 6:30-7, 7-7:30, 7:30-8)
o   Making and selling Cotton Candy.
·         Popcorn (Shifts: 5-5:30, 5:30-6, 6-6:30, 6:30-7, 7-7:30, 7:30-8)
o   Making and selling Popcorn.
·         SnoCones (Shifts: 5-5:30, 5:30-6, 6-6:30, 6:30-7, 7-7:30, 7:30-8)
o   Making and selling SnoCones.
·         Face Painting (Shifts: 5-6:30, 6:30-8)
o   Painting fun and creative designs on BBQ attendees. (paints, etc. will be provided – just bring your creativity)
·         Games (Shifts: 5-6:30, 6:30-8)
o   We’ll have a variety of games which will need leaders. You can specify your preference from among the following: Twister, Bean Bag Toss, School Yard Bingo
·         Clean up (Shifts: 8-9)
o   Assisting with general clean up once the BBQ is over.

THE WEST OTTAWA SOCCER CLUB is currently looking for coaches for the U4, U5 and U6 teams. No experience necessary as you would be working with very young kids who are just being introduced to soccer.  All sessions plans are provided by the Club for you to follow. OTTAWA MUSIC EXPO:  We are currently looking for new volunteers for our exciting event taking place during the Music & Beyond festival on July 5, 2015. The volunteer team will assist with workshops, handing out brochures and balloons along the canal to encourage families to attend the Ottawa Music Expo. There will be many volunteer opportunities available including set up and tear down of the event so feel free to contact our volunteer coordinator who will work with you to find a position that you are interested in.
