Dual Credit at Algonquin College gives students the opportunity to experience a college course, while students earn credits towards both their high school diploma and their post secondary education. 
Courses vary by semester and are offered across a variety of College programs.
All students in grades 10 and 11 that are interested in the Dual Credit Program for next school year but missed the meeting should come by student services to pick up a pamphlet and application form.

Summer School: We have both the public and catholic school boards' summer school registration forms in Student Services.  Drop by early morning, lunch time, after school to pick up your forms. The Graduation Ceremony is Wednesday, June 27th at 1:00 pm at the Metropolitan Bible Church.
Each graduate will be given 2 tickets for guests. 
Students can request extra tickets by going to my.mths.ca between Tuesday, May 1st and Thursday, May 31st. No extra tickets can be requested after May 31st. Students will be informed exactly how many extra tickets they will receive shortly thereafter. (TC May 31)

A Message from Carleton University: The Enriched Support program – ESP – is designed for students that don’t meet the traditional entrance requirements. We offer students the chance to begin first-year study with structured academic support in the form of weekly support workshops. Students who finish our program with the necessary average are guaranteed admission to many programs at Carleton. We also have Information Nights coming up on May 18th and June 1st. The School Letter is awarded to graduates who have made outstanding contributions to our school community during their high school years and who model our school motto “Love & Dignity”.   School Letter applications are due May 7th by 3:00 pm in Student Services. LF Volunteers: Threads of Life Charity BBQ. Threads of Life is a National Charity that provides help and support to families who have a family member killed or injured in a workplace accident. It's back by popular demand, Aspiring Artists! This summer camp is looking for volunteers here at St. Mother Teresa High School. Camp dates are:  July 16-20 and July 23-27. Please call 613-296-3726.

LF Volunteers: Ottawa Children’s Festival  May 11- May 15.  The volunteer works with the Festival Staff at the onsite box-office, which is usually open from 8:45am – 4:00pm every day of the Festival. Because of the nature of this job, we appreciate volunteers who can work for several days. The box office generally needs 4 – 6 volunteers each day. Volunteer Duties include: Taking orders and filling out our forms, Selling tickets, Tracking sales, Checking and confirming arrival lists for school groups, Schlepping – carrying items to/from the office and storage trailer, Other tasks as assigned by the box-office manager

There will be an information meeting about next year's Dual Credit courses on Monday, April 30th at 11:25 in Student Services. Students who had indicated interest on their course selections will find an appointment slip in their homeroom. All students in grades 10 and 11 that are interested are welcome to attend.
