7/8 Boys Volleyball: All members of the 7/8 Boys Volleyball team are reminded of their practices on the following dates: Monday, October 2nd - gym C; Wednesday, October 4th - gym D; Wednesday, October 12th - gym C; Thursday, October 13th - gym D. Yearboook: The yearbook is looking for your pictures! We see so many students walking around the halls taking pictures - do you have great photos -why not get them in the yearbook? And it is so easy. Just pop into the yearbook office - room 207 on Tuesdays or Thursdays to download your photos - or put them on a CD and give them to Mrs. Birmingham, Samantha Graitson or Sam Hopkins. Grads: Carleton University Day will take place on Friday, October 6 at Carleton University campus. Activities are planned from 9:00 - 3:00 p.m. Talk with professors, staff and students about various programs. Join in workshops on financial assistance, take a campus tour, learn about co-op opportunities. Prizes available, including free tuition for your first year. Part-Time Job Available: Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Attendant needed 1-2 evenings per week, and approximately 1 weekend a month (Sat. and Sun.). Must be 16 yrs old. Training provided. Athletic Council:
Any and all high school students who wish to participate in Athletic Council this year are asked to come to a meeting TODAY at lunch in the wood floor gym. Commitment is all year long but minimal involvement is appreciated. Duties include planning, scoring, refereeing intramural games - your participation in Athletic Council will allow you to participate in intramurals and counts toward the Mother Teresa 21 point award. If you cannot make the meeting, please see either Mr. Prigent or Ms. Coyle.

Stratford Festival: Students who have signed up for the Stratford Festival trip are reminded that the first workshop will be held after school in room 300 this Wednesday from 3.15 - 4.15. All participants are expected to attend.

Italian Language Course: The School Board's International Language Program will offer Italian Language training for students from JK to Grade 8. Classes are held at St. Rita School every Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Registration will take place this Saturday, September 9, at St. Rita School, anytime between 9:30 a.m. and noon. The first class of instruction will be on Saturday, September 16. The program is offered at no cost other than a $10 consumable fee.
