BAKE SALE - Grade 7 students from 705 will be hosting a bake sale on Wednesday, June 13th during HS & 7&8 lunch to raise money for the future HS participants of the Guatemala Mission trip. Sweet treats for sale will include: cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, ice cream sandwiches, donuts and much more! Support a good cause while supporting your very own St. MT students and their future endeavours and efforts in Guatemala. (CP June 13)

Grade 7&8 students going to Calypso, please have your forms in to your teacher this Monday, June 4th(if you are going to Toronto) and on Wednesday if you are in Grade 7 or not going to Toronto. (RH June 4)

Attention all grade 8 girls who are interested in playing HS GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY next fall. There will be an information meeting, led by grade 12 players, at 7&8 lunch on Tuesday June 12th in room 234. Please bring your lunch and come hear what the graduating players have to say about the sport, the season, the equipment, the rules and the tournaments. Our 2018-2019 season will begin promptly at the beginning of the 2018 school year, so come out and see if this sport is for you! (CP June 12)

7/8 Girl's Softball: The next practice for 7/8 girls softball will take place Monday, June 4th from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. (KS Jun 4)

Grade 8 Semi-Formal:  Grade 8 semi-formal will be taking place June 22nd from 5:30 to 8 p.m.  Online permission and payments need to be completed by Friday, June 8th(KS June 8)

7/8 Rugby Team: Are you looking for good sport to practice team work, respect and confidence? The Barrhaven Scottish rugby team is looking for new recruits between the ages of 7 to 17. It is a great hobby to be part of. For more information, contact the emails matching your age group on the flyers posted on the 2nd and 3rd floor.

Dinner at 6:30 pm and Awards at 7:30 pm.  All High School Athletes are invited to attend. Tickets will be distributed during lunch at the Tuck Shop on Thursday, June 7, Monday, June 11th, and Tuesday, June 12th. A Message from Carleton University: The Enriched Support program – ESP – is designed for students that don’t meet the traditional entrance requirements. We offer students the chance to begin first-year study with structured academic support in the form of weekly support workshops. Students who finish our program with the necessary average are guaranteed admission to many programs at Carleton. We also have Information Nights coming up on May 18th and June 1st. The Graduation Ceremony is Wednesday, June 27th at 1:00 pm at the Metropolitan Bible Church.
Each graduate will be given 2 tickets for guests.  Students can request extra tickets by going to my.mths.ca between Tuesday, May 1st and Thursday, May 31st. No extra tickets can be requested after May 31st. Students will be informed exactly how many extra tickets they will receive shortly thereafter. (TC May 31)

The Gr. 7/We Team fundraiser is being extended until Wednesday, May 30. Money raised will help communities in Kenya have daily access to clean water and the canned goods will be donated to the Barrhaven Food Bank. Donations are still being accepted online (or in homeroom) and canned goods will be collected daily. The WE Team greatly appreciates your support!!
