Candy Bag Sale. One Day Only!  This Thursday at lunch, Alice's Wonder-Stand will offer one chance to buy scrumptious candy bags for $2 per bag. Bring your twoonies for a special treat for you or a stocking stuffer for a special someone! (SM Dec. 18)

Math Munchers will be open Monday to Thursday this week only.  It will not be available next week, but will start up again in January.  Need more of a challenge in math?  Stop by Math Munchers in January for some complex problems that will challenge you. HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Alpine Ski Team: Our next practice will be in room 303 Thursday December 4 during both lunches.   Please bring your lunch.  All team fees should be submitted to Mrs. Brady before December 12, 2014.  Unfortunately they can't be paid using the new on-line payment system this year. (AB Dec. 4)

Attention all HISTORY ON FILM club members, our next film will be Forrest Gump taking place on Wednesday December 3, 2014.  We will be looking at issues such as the Vietnam War, civil rights, US presidencies and hippies to name a few. Mama always said "Life is like a box of chocolates...."(MG Dec. 3)

LF French Tutor (immersion) for a grade 6 boy attending St. Luke elementary school. Looking for help once a week to start.  If interested, please contact Mr. Kay at 613-823-8482. Thank you.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:


LF for volunteers to work with children at activity stations on Saturday, December 6th (Manotick Family Christmas Party) at the Manotick United Church from1:00 pm to 4:30 pm.  You must provide your own transportation to and from the church.  Please contact Laurel Slattery or Donna Ouellette at 613-692-4625. The Ravines Retirement Residence (Prince of Wales and Colonnade) Activities include but not limited to coffee club, walking club, gardening club, social hour, bingo, afternoon tea and outings.  Please contact Sonia Makus, Activity Aide - The Ravines at 613-288-7900 extension 1001.
