Women in Trades - We are
looking for 3 more students to attend the
Algonquin open house for Women in Trades. This event is a full day on Feb 25th
and there is no cost for the student. Students in grades 7-12 are invited to attend. Please see Mrs. McCarthy in
Room 200 for a permission form or if you have any questions. This event provides
students the opportunity to integrate experiential workshops and
networking with mentors. Features 2-3 hands-on rotations, and 1 mentor
panel rotation. Mentor panel features 4-5 tradeswomen in a
variety of careers. (KM Feb.7)
Best of luck to our SMT students participating in
this year's Technovation Challenge 2020. Their all day kick off
events are held this Saturday, February 1st at Carleton University or
Sunday, February. 2nd at IBM. Best of luck to our four SMT TEAMS! (SH Feb. 2)

HS Schedules: Revised schedules for
Semester 2 will be available through your my.mths.ca account as of Friday,
January 31st at 3 p.m. Schedules posted before that time are tentative
and rooms and periods are subject to change. Students looking for a change to
their schedule must pick up a form in Student Services starting on Monday, Feb.
3rd. Forms must be signed by a parent/guardian. Please note, changes are
limited. The last day to schedule a
