Students are requested to check out items from the lost and found tables. Any items not claimed will be donated to charity. (SS Dec 12)

Ski/Snowboard Club information packages are now available in the main office.  There is a 3-step registration process this year that includes first completing the online portion at my.mths.ca.  Online registration, permission forms, and payment are due by Wednesday, December 17th. Let it snow! (SM Dec. 17)

In the Learning Commons

Would all acts performing in the revival of Mocha Teresa please attend a short meeting Wednesday, December 10th at lunch in room 200. If you cannot attend please see Mrs. Byrne.  (EB Dec. 10)
7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS

Math Munchers will be open Monday to Thursday this week only.  It will not be available next week, but will start up again in January.  Need more of a challenge in math?  Stop by Math Munchers in January for some complex problems that will challenge you. Take them back to your math class to work on during an appropriate time.  Happy Holidays everyone!  (JD Dec. 11)

7-8 School Play: All 7-8 students interested in being in the 7-8 school play must sign up for an audition time slot outside room 332 before Dec 15th. Please see Mme Beraldin if you have any questions. Auditions are Monday Dec 15 and Wednesday Dec 17th after school. (JB Dec. 17)

Boy's floorball tryouts on Tuesday Dec 9th  at 3:00 in Gym C/D and Friday Dec 12th at 3:00 in Gym A/B. (GR Dec. 9)

Any 7/8 boys and girls interested in trying out for the futsal (indoor soccer) team please sign up in front of Mr. Nicoletti's Physical Education Office. The boys first tryout will be Tuesday morning at 7:30am in the C/D gym. The girls first tryout will be Thursday morning at 7:30am also in the C/D gym. (SM/CN Dec. 11)

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

This announcement is for the High School Cross Country Team, the team picture will be taking place WEDNESDAY AT LUNCH in ROOM 103.  Please wear your team hoodies and bring any singlets you may still have. (MG Dec. 9)

Math Enrichment:  Reminder to all students involved in math enrichment of our meeting on Wednesday during lunch.  See you there! (NR Dec. 10)

Biology Competition Meeting - Room 202 every Monday lunch. Bring lunch and writing implements. (SS Dec. 8)

Debate- The next debate meeting will be Monday, December 15 after school in rm 138. Meetings will switch to Mondays from this time onward. All are welcome! (JS Dec. 15)

The STUDENT SERVICES WEBSITE at ss.mths.ca is set up as an information tool, including information about: Community Service Hours Opportunities, Courses, Careers, Graduation, Scholarships, etc.

LF French Tutor (immersion) for a grade 6 boy attending St. Luke elementary school. Looking for help once a week to start.  If interested, please contact Mr. Kay at 613-823-8482. Thank you.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:


LF for volunteers to work with children at activity stations on Saturday, December 6th (Manotick Family Christmas Party) at the Manotick United Church from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm.  You must provide your own transportation
