7/8 BADMINTON: Students interested in trying out for the Grade 7/8 Badminton team should sign their name to the list posted by Room 332. The Grade 7 try-out will be held in the Wood Floor Gym on Friday, January 23rd from 3:15 – 4:00pm. The Grade 8 try-out will be held in the Cafeteria Gym on Monday, January 26th from 3:15 – 4:00pm. Speak to Mme. Kinloch or Mrs. Jewitt for more information.
COLLEGE APPLICATIONS: The deadline is Monday, February 2nd. You need your OEN number to complete the application. See your Guidance Counsellor if you do not have your number or if you need assistance.

DRIVER EDUCATION PROGRAM: Registration forms for the Winter 2009 session are now available in Student Services. Students may register either by mailing/dropping off the registration form to the Continuing Education Department (570 West Hunt Club Road), or by calling 613-228-3338 to register with Visa or MasterCard payment. In-class lessons start Wednesday, February 25th from 3:15pm to 5:45pm in Room 100.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: For The Nepean Girls Hockey Tournament Friday, January 30th - Sunday, February 1st. Please contact Elena at 823-4555 (ergoobie@rogers.com) or Rosie (rosiehuot@yahoo.ca) and mention that you would like to help out Team PH 1.
LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS: Farley Mowat Public School is hosting a Family Fun Dance on Thursday, February 12th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and volunteers are needed from 5pm-9pm to help set-up, to work the concession stands and bake sale, take tickets at the door and supervise a coloring corner.
