ATTENTION GRADE 7/8 STUDENTS: The music room will be open on Wednesday and Thursday this week for practice at lunch.

ATTENTION GRADE 7/8 BAND STUDENTS: Fundraising is now over due. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to lower the cost of your year end trip - and to win an IPod Shuffle! Forms must be handed in by no later than Thursday. If you need another form, please get one from Mrs. Antoine

ATTENTION GRADE 7/8 BAND STUDENTS: All band fees are now overdue. Please bring your cheques and T-shirt order-forms in by no later than Thursday. Shirts will be ordered on Friday!

ATTENTION GRADE 7/8 STUDENTS: Are you interested in helping out with this year's play? The One & Only Santa Claus is set for Thursday, December 13th. We are looking for stage hands to help with scene changes, lighting and sound technicians, set painters, curtain pullers, prop/costumes makers, assistant technical director, assistant stage manager, ushers and ticket sellers. Visit room 332 to sign up.

NOTICE FOR GRADS: A representative from St. Lawrence College will be here on Thursday, Nov. 8 from 12:30 to 1:30 to discuss programs and entrance requirements for St. Lawrence College. This college has campuses in Cornwall, Brockville and Kingston and has many programs that may be of interest to graduates. If you are interested in attending, you must sign up in Student Services by the end of the day tomorrow (Wednesday).

VIMY TRIP: Could all the students that went on last years Vimy trip please stop by room 212 TODAY or Wednesday at lunch or after school to see Mr. Coxall. I have more information about: 1. The Remembrance Day concert on November 10th. 2. A meeting at the War Museum on November 9th with Canada AM. 3. Update about trip to Ortona.

BOYS HOCKEY: All boys hockey team members are reminded of the Blue vs White game TODAY. Dismissal is a 2:15. Puck drop at 3 pm. If you cannot make it, please advise one of the coaches. Pizza party is next Tuesday, November 13 after school. You must sign up with Mr. Prigent or you cannot attend.

INTRAMURALS: Floor Hockey Sign ups begin this week. Team forms are available at Mr. Prigent's office door. $1 per player. Deadline is Friday November 16. First 8 teams paid make the cut.

HIGH SCHOOL PLAY AUDITIONS: The auditions for the high school play will take place on Monday, Nov. 12, Tuesday, Nov. 13 and Wednesday Nov. 14 in room 131 (the new wing) from 3:15 till 5:30. Please put your name on the Audition List. Please bring your audition form with you.

WHITE PINE READING CLUB FOR GRADE 9-12 STUDENTS: If you like to read, please come to the first meeting of the White Pine Reading Club. Meet new friends and enjoy some great books by Canadian authors. Bring your lunch to the first meeting on Wednesday, November 7th in the library seminar room at 11:45. Note: Grade 9 students interested in joining the club this Wednesday but who will be away on Take You Kid To Work Day are asked to see Mrs. Harrington-Veryard in the library.

PROM COMMITTEE: If you are interested in helping plan 2008's Prom, please come out to our first meeting on Thursday, November 8th, at lunch (11:45 a.m.) in Room 134 (first floor in the new wing)

TAKE OUR KIDS TO WORK DAY: Wednesday, November 7th is Take Our Kids To Work Day. There are no classes for Gr. 9 students on that day.

REACH FOR THE TOP: Students interested in entering the annual Reach In-School Tourney should pick up team entry forms in Room 200 as soon as possible. Entry deadline is Thursday Nov. 8. The revolution continues...

ATTENTION GRADS: Your opportunity to purchase your "Class of 2008" grad ring has arrived!! Representatives from Jostens will be here to take orders on Wednesday and Thursday - Nov. 7th and 8th - at lunchtime. Catalogues are now available in the main office. A $60 deposit is required to place an order.
