7/8 STUDENT COUNCIL: All 7/8 Homeroom Reps are reminded of the meeting after school today in the 7/8 Art Room. We'll be making decorations and organizing tickets for the upcoming "Out of this World" dance.
ATTENTION GRADE 7/8 STUDENTS: Are you interested in helping out with this year's play? The One & Only Santa Claus is set for Thursday, December 13th. We are looking for stage hands to help with scene changes, lighting and sound technicians, set painters, curtain pullers, prop/costumes makers, assistant technical director, assistant stage manager, ushers and ticket sellers. Visit room 332 to sign up.
VOCAL GROUP: A reminder that students involved in the vocal group have a practice TODAY after school, in the chapel. Please plan to attend.
HIGH SCHOOL PLAY AUDITIONS: The auditions for the high school play will take place on Monday, Nov. 12, Tuesday, Nov. 13 and Wednesday Nov. 14 in room 131 (the new wing) from 3:15 till 5:30. Please put your name on the Audition List. Please bring your audition form with you.
PROM COMMITTEE: If you are interested in helping plan 2008's Prom, please come out to our first meeting on Thursday, November 8th in Room 134. (first floor in the new wing)
"MAKE THE CUT": Students interested in participating in the November 28th presentation at Carleton University (as previously explained) are reminded to return their completed forms to Mrs. McLaughlin, Mr. Whitten or Ms. Stewart.
WHITE PINE READING CLUB FOR GRADE 9-12 STUDENTS: If you like to read, please come to the first meeting of the White Pine Reading Club. Meet new friends and enjoy some great books by Canadian authors. Bring your lunch to the first meeting on Wednesday, November 7th in the library seminar room at 11:45.

TAKE OUR KIDS TO WORK DAY: Wednesday, November 7th is Take Our Kids To Work Day. There are no classes for Gr. 9 students on that day. All Grade 9 students have been given information pamphlets and permission forms. The permission forms are to be returned to the homeroom teacher TODAY.
REACH FOR THE TOP: Students interested in entering the annual Reach In-School Tourney should pick up team entry forms in Room 200 as soon as possible. Entry deadline is Thursday Nov. 8. The revolution continues...
ALGONQUIN COLLEGE: A representative from Algonquin College will be here TODAY at 9:05 a.m. to speak to graduates who are interested in attending Algonquin College in September 2008. Students who plan to attend are asked to wait to be called down. We will meet in room 131.
