Attention skiers and snowboarders: If you are interested in participating in the St.
Mother Teresa Ski and Snowboard club please visit your my.mths.ca app and clink
the link to sign up. We will be skiing all Wednesdays in February (the
6th, the 13th, 20th and 27th). Bus leaves school at 3:00 and

7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS
7 & 8 Swim Team - Tryouts will take place at MINTO Recreation Complex March 5 & 7th from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. Please attend both tryouts. Competitive and
non-competitive swimmers
The next connectED for grades 7&8 students
runs Friday, January 25th period 5. Students must sign up on my.mths.ca from January 16th at 8am to January
24th at 9 am. Lots
to choose from,don't miss out! If you need help please speak with your homeroom

7/8 Floorball: Any grade 7/8
girls who are interested in trying out for the Floorball Team, please sign up
outside room 233 before the first tryout Thursday
morning at 7:30am. (KB Jan. 10)
7/8 Futsal: Any girls
interested in trying out for the GIRLS 7/8 Futsal team there will be ONE try
out on Wednesday, January 9th in the
Wood Floor Gym. Please see Ms. Mandia if you cannot attend the tryout. The two
other practices will be January 17th and
23rd.
HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Volunteers for Wrestling Tournament @SMT February
4th-6th: Volunteers are needed for set-up teardown, scorekeeping,
tournament brackets, and match calling for the SMT Wrestling tournament on February 6th. We will need all day
on February 6th, as well the evenings of
February 4th and 5th. See Mr Connor or send him an email at brendan.connor@ocsb.ca if you are interested.
Attention Gr. 9 Students.
With semester 1 exams coming up at the end of January, there will be exam
preparation workshops offered in the New Year. If you would like to learn
effective study strategies, you won't want to miss this! You will need to
sign up in Student Services in order to attend. The workshops will be
offered at lunch (11:25-12:05pm) on January 9, 10 and 11. Come visit us

summer camps on-campus and/or in Barrhaven, Kanata, or Orleans.Contract dates:

is looking for 10 - 12 (4 on ice and the remainder off ice) volunteers to help
on February 2, 2019 from 10:30am to 2:30pm at Larking Park (76 Larkin Drive).

– 3 pm Indoor – Registration Outside – Site Set Up
Sunday would
be from 6:30 am – 2 pm or 3 pm (or whatever time you can
spare) Indoor – registration *come prepared to rotate outside positions
after 8:30 am Outside (rotating) – Course Marshals, Aid Stations, Finish
Line. Lunch is
NOT provided (There is a volunteer room nearby for lunch and breaks, as well as
the Museum Cafeteria). We encourage volunteers to bring food/drink to get
them through their time with us or purchase food at the Museum Cafeteria. Paid
parking onsite Saturday and Sunday. Saturday buses
