Learning Commons Seminar Room - When not booked by a class, The Learning Commons Seminar Room will be a designated quiet study space.

Attention Futsal Players! Our next intramural activity will be indoor three on three soccer. Please sign up (with your teams of no more than five) outside of Mr. Quinn's office in the gym hallway. (KB Feb.5)
School Play: Rehearsal for all cast members: Monday February 8th: 3:00-4:00pm on the stage (JB -Feb 8)
7-8 Boys Hockey: Second Tryout is scheduled on Thursday February 11th @ Minto Recreation Complex from 3:15-4:50pm. *Only the students whose names are on the sheet outside room 332 are to come to the tryout* (JB -Feb 11)

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Tutors: Students who filled in an application to tutor should have received a form asking them to sign-up for a Remind App which will allow Student Services to send out job requests. If you have not registered through texting or email, please do so if you are still interested in tutoring for semester 2. Please see Mrs Watkinson in Student Services if you need these instructions. If you are interested in tutoring semester 2 and have not filled in an application, please come to student services to pick up the application/instruction sheet. (TC Feb. 5)
After School Literacy Class: The classes begin (Tuesday Feb. 2) at 3 pm in room 135. All students interested in preparing to write the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test are welcome to attend. Please drop your permission form to Mrs. Watkinson in Students Services. (AB)
All grade 11 and 12 students from last year's Ancient History class are asked to pick up the permission form for the Field Trip to Toronto in room 304. Please be advised that the first 24 to return forms will be confirmed for the trip. For any questions please see Mrs. Galbraith. (MG Feb. 5)
Math Enrichment: Reminder to all students involved in math enrichment of our next gathering on Wednesday, February 3rd during lunch. Remember that all grade 9 to 11 students wishing to write the Waterloo contest must bring $8 to the lead teacher by that date. See you Wednesday! (NR Feb. 5)
Debate Club - The debate club will meet January 18th, February 8th, 22nd, March 7th. Meetings will resume again after the March Break. No experience needed. New students always welcome. Room 138. (JS March 7)

Guidance Counsellor Appointments: For students in grade 9 -12, to request an appointment to see you Guidance Counsellor, please do so on-line, through yourmy.mths.ca account. You will receive an email with the scheduled time of the appointment. It may take a day or two to receive the scheduled appointment. For students in grade 7&8, please continue to visit Student Services to make the appointment. (JH Feb. 5)
