Wed. Jan. 21:  - HS Animanga Club is cancelled today due to Grad Photo Retakes in the Seminar Room during HS Lunch

Friday Jan. 22:  Red Maple (7/8 Book Club) will be meeting in the Seminar Room during 7/8 Lunch

Mon. Jan. 26:  - Grade 8 Games club will be meeting in the Seminar Room during 7/8 Lunch.

7-8 School Play: The rehearsals for the 7-8 school play are as follow:

Thursday January 22: Scene 2 on stage from 3:00-4:00pm

Wednesday January 28: Scene 3 on stage from 3:00-4:00pm

Wednesday February 11: Scene 4 on stage from 3:00-4:00pm

Friday February 13: Scene 5 on stage from 3:00-4:00pm

All rehearsals are mandatory, you must let Mme. Beraldin know if you cannot attend. (JB Feb.13)

The Junior Girls Volleyball Team has a practice on Thursday, January 22nd @ 3pm in the wood floor gym. (SS Jan. 22)

The BOYS Futsal Team is reminded of their practices on Monday, January 19th  AND Thursday, January 22nd from 3-4:30pm in the wood floor gym. (SM Jan. 22)

The GIRLS Futsal Team is reminded of their practice on Wednesday, January 21st 3-4:30pm in the wood floor gym. (SM Jan. 21)

clip_image0017/8 Floorball: Thanks to all who tried out for the Boy's Titan Floorball team. Practices Tues Jan 12th 3-4, Wed. Jan. 13th 3-4, Tues Jan 20th 3-4 and Thurs Jan 22nd 3-4.  All practices in the cafe gym Tues. January 27th (GR Jan. 27)

Any grade 7 or 8 student interested in competing in the 2015 OCSB Math Olympics, please see Mr. Cloutier Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday this week at lunch in room 237. Please bring your lunch! (AC Jan. 23)

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS


All high school students interested in de-stressing during the exam schedule are invited to the chapel for a guided meditation during High School lunch NEXT WEEK. Check with Leanne for more details. Remember: "Whenever two or more are gathered in my name, I am there" Mt 18:20. (LD Jan 23)

High School Schedules for Semester 2: All students from grade 9 -12 must check their schedules on my.mths.ca. There has been a number of changes including teachers, rooms, etc. If you are using the MTHS App, you will need to log out and back in to refresh. (JH Jan. 30)

Attention all ye Lords and Ladies of Mother Teresa.  The next History on Film Club will be on Wednesday January 21 after school in room 304.  The film will be A Knight's Tale featuring Heath Ledger.  If you like jousting, courtly love and films based on real historical characters then this film is for you! What say ye? (MG Jan. 21)

Math Enrichment:  Students in grade 9 to 11 planning to write the Waterloo Math Contest are reminded to bring $5 to their enrichment teacher BEFORE exams.  You must bring in your money to be registered to write the contest on February 24.  We will meet next on Wednesday, February 4th. (NR Feb. 24)

Math Enrichment: Reminder of our gathering today at senior lunch.  This will be the last one of semester 1.  Our next gathering will take place on February 4th. (NR Feb. 4)

STUDENT SERVICES

The STUDENT SERVICES WEBSITE at ss.mths.ca is set up as an information tool, including information about: Community Service Hours Opportunities, Courses, Careers, Graduation, Scholarships, etc.

Driver Education Program - Winter 2015. Registration runs from January 12th to February 18th.

Forms are available in Student Services.  Classes run at Mother Teresa High School on Wednesdays from 3:15pm to 6:00pm.  First class is February 25th. (KW Feb. 25)

More please! Please drop off your washed and dried Beatrice, Sealtest and Neilson milk bags to Mrs. Watkinson in Student Services between 8:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday to Friday.  Thank you. 

A local group of ladies in Barrhaven is crocheting the sitting mats. The CFFC (Canadian Food for Children) is the registered charity who ships out all our mats and bags in those huge containers.

Reminder to those students who need volunteer hours.  Come by during your lunch on Wednesdays and Thursdays and help sort the bags. Bring your friends! (KW Jan. 23)

Volunteers needed!  We are coordinating our annual West End Basketball League (WEBL) Midget Girls Year-end Tournament and need basketball scorekeepers and timekeepers. The event takes place at LDHS starting from Friday (April 24th) after school until Sunday (April 26th) evening.  We are looking for high school students and priority will be given to those who can commit to the whole tournament.  This is a great way to pick up a ton of volunteer hours!  For more information please contact: James Turner at vprec@nepeanbluedevils.ca (KW Apr. 24)
