Let us touch the dying, the poor, the lonely and the unwanted according to the graces we have received and let us not be ashamed or slow to do the humble work.
WHOLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
On Tuesday September 24th the grade 7/8 cross-country team competed at the Board meet at the Terry Fox Complex. All of our runners ran great races and a few runners managed to win or place in the top 10 of their race. This is a great achievement considering there was anywhere from 85 - 109 runners in each of the races. As you can see from the results MT dominated the grade 7 boys competitive category and was well represented in the grade 8 competitive girls. (JK Sep 26)

-Seventh place in the grade 8 girls competitive race: Hunter Gibbons
RESILIENT & READY: A Luncheon Conversation for Parents: Date: Thursday, September 26, 2013: Time: 12:00pm – 1:30pm (doors open at 11:30am) Location: Centurion Convention Center (170 Colonnade Road) Admission: $25. The second annual Resilient & Ready luncheon is presented by Tomlinson, D.I.F.D. and The Royal in response to a growing desire amongst parents in our community for more information about youth mental health. It follows a successful inaugural event, which reached more than 550 parents. (MR Sep 26)
REGISTER NOW: For A Lung Run and receive a $5 subway giftcard if you are a student from Mother Teresa. A lung Run is a new Barrhaven fall run. All proceeds go to Helene Campbell Give2live campaign. The run is October 5 and starts and finishes at Mother Teresa. Cash Prizes will be given to the top 5 men and women in the 5 and 10k runs. 7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS 
BOYS FLAG RUGBY PRACTICES: will continue Monday and Wednesdays from 3:00-4:00. Please bring cleats and water. Chalk talk on Fridays at lunch in room 237. (JD Oct 2)
THE GRADE 7/8 DANCE CLUB: is back again this year!!! The club will run Monday's from 3:00-4:00 in the High School Dance Room. Our first club meeting will be this Monday September 30th. All are welcome, no dance experience required. Have fun dancing, meeting new people and being physically active. (AD Sep 30)
HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
CHOIR PRACTICE - students please meet in the chapel on Friday Sept 27th at lunch. Another practice will be on Tuesday Oct 1 at lunch in the chapel. Please bring your lunch, the music and water. BATTLE OF BARRHAVEN- THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS: There will be a football game between the Mother Teresa Titans and St. Joseph's Jaguars this Thursday, Sept 26 at 7:00 p.m. The game will be played at Bob Steven's field which is located on Longfields Dr. at South Nepean Park. Come out and support your team. Food and beverages will be sold. There will also be a 50/50 draw to support the "Say No for Nick" foundation. (AC Sep 26)
ATTENTION CO-OP STUDENTS! There will be an integration day this Friday September 27. Mrs OSullivan’s students go to Computer Lab 318 for their morning or afternoon session. PEER HELPERS: Attention high school students - for those who have signed up to be a peer helper, please check the list located on the classroom door of room 302. HIGH SCHOOL TUTOR: Any high school student interested in being a tutor for students at Mother Teresa HighSchool, please come to Student Services to fill out an application. Tutoring takes place at the school. For more information go to Student Services. (TC Sep 27)
NEW YORK CITY TRIP: is quickily filling up. There are only 6 spots remaining. Those students still interested in going on the trip must have their first payment deposit and permission form handed in to Mr. Rowley by Friday, September 27th 2013 in Room 136. Students who need information and the necessary forms should see Mr. Rowley ASAP. (MR Sep 27)
PARIS TRIP: Attention any high school students interested in participating in the Overseas Enrichment Trip in 2014. The trip will be to Dublin, Wales, London and Paris. Registration is taking place now. Please see Mr. Buccino in room 302. All students my sign up by Sept. 30, 2013. (MB Sep 30)

Mother Teresa… Did you know…??
