Day 1 - H.S. & Day 4 - Gr. 7 & 8

ATTENTION Gr. 7/8 STUDENTS:
All cast members of The One & Only Santa Claus as well as those assigned to props & costumes are reminded to bring in their props & costumes this week. All props/costumes for the play are due by Thursday, November 15th. Write your name on your items and bring them to rehearsals.

ATTENTION Gr. 7/8 STUDENTS: If you signed up help backstage with the production of The One & Only Santa Claus, you are asked to attend a very brief but important meeting in room 332 at the beginning of lunch TODAY.

ATTENTION Gr. 7/8 STUDENTS: The music room will be open TODAY for practice. There will also be a clarinet clinic for any student. Junior Band students must attend. There will be a music council meeting on Friday at the beginning of lunch.

RED MAPLE CLUB: Red Maple Club meets TODAY during Junior Lunch in the Library Seminar Room. Bring your lunch and student ID. New students are most welcome!

YEARBOOK COMMITTEE: Those involved in Yearbook layout and design are asked to attend a meeting after school in Room 103 this Thursday, November 15th. A representative from Jostens will be giving an important presentation on design. Yearbook Photographers are also asked to attend as they will be given their next photo assignment.

VARSITY GIRLS VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS: There will be tryouts for ALL Junior and Senior girls interested in playing on the high school Girls’ Volleyball team this year. Tryouts are in Gym A/B on Monday, Nov. 19th at 7:15 am, Tuesday, Nov. 20th from 3:15 - 4:30 pm AND Wednesday, Nov. 21st from 3:15 - 4:30 pm. See you there! If you cannot make it, please see Miss. Kuchma in room 134 before Monday.

ATTENTION ALL CAPPIES: We will have a VERY important meeting on Friday, November 16 at 11:40 in room 300 to discuss the upcoming musical to be reviewed. Please bring your Cappie binder and your lunch!

BARRHAVEN CINEPLEX IS HIRING: Job Fair TONIGHT, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Cineplex Barrhaven, 131 Riocan Avenue, Ottawa. Bring resume and be prepared to be interviewed. You must be 15 years old to apply.

NOTICE: A reminder that high school students are not permitted to use the staircase in the new addition to access the first floor rooms in the new addition. The 2nd and 3rd floors in the new addition are off limits to high school students.

ALGONQUIN COLLEGE INFORMATION NIGHTS: Algonquin College is holding four Information Nights this week at their Woodroffe campus. All sessions are held in Room T102 (Technology building, next to the visitors parking lot) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This is an excellent opportunity to find out more about specific programs at Algonquin. Tonight is a presentation by the Faculty of Arts, Media and Design and Thursday night is the Faculty of Technology and Trades. Register online at www.algonquincollege.com. GRAD PHOTOS:
Your graduation portrait session days take place this week (until Friday). Please book your appointment. Sign up sheets are available in Student Services along with information booklets. Sitting fees are either $25, $30 or $35. If you only require a yearbook pose, please sign up for a yearbook only appointment (no cost); you will not need a ten minute appointment.

INTRAMURALS: Floor Hockey Sign ups this week. Team forms are available at Mr. Prigent's office door. $1 per player. Deadline is this Friday. First 8 teams paid make the cut.
