NOTICE: Tomorrow (Friday) is a Professional Development day for teachers and a holiday for students.
SIGN A BANNER FOR REMBERANCE DAY: TODAY during both lunches, students will be invited to sign their name and send their well wishes to soldiers overseas in Afghanistan. Please come to the Atrium at lunch and sign your name.
ENRICHMENT GROUP: Enrichment Meeting for 7 & 8's on Monday, November 12 during junior lunch in Room 132. Bring your lunch. All 7/8 gifted students are asked to attend.
7/8 DANCE: Don't forget that the 7/8 "Out of this World" dance is taking place this afternoon!
RED MAPLE CLUB: New members are still welcome. Please drop by the library to pick up a pass. Next meeting will be Wednesday, November 14th.
ATTENTION GRADE 7/8 STUDENTS: The music room will be open TODAY for practice at lunch.
AWARDS CEREMONY INFORMATION: Student who received letters of invitation to the H.S. awards ceremony on Monday will be asked to come down to the cafetorium immediately after the announcements on Monday. Instructions will be given to the participants at that time.
PROM COMMITTEE: If you are interested in helping plan 2008's Prom, please come out to our first meeting TODAY, at lunch (11:45 a.m.) in Room 134 (first floor in the new wing)
GRAD PHOTOS: Your graduation portrait session days are coming up next week (Tuesday to Friday). Please book your appointment early. Sign up sheets are available in Student Services along with information booklets. Sitting fees are either $25, $30 or $35. If you only require a yearbook pose, please sign up for a yearbook only appointment (no cost); you will not need a ten minute appointment.
PEER HELPERS: There will be no class visit this week. Please sign up in Student Services for the In Love and In Danger workshop which takes place Friday, Nov. 16.
YEARBOOK COMMITTEE: TODAY’S regular Yearbook Committee meeting has been postponed until Thursday, November 15th. It is important that all Yearbook Photographers plan to attend this meeting as we will be handing out your next photo assignments. Committee members who have been working on layout and design are also asked to attend.
NOTICE FOR GRADS: A representative from St. Lawrence College will be here TODAY 12:30 to 1:30 to discuss programs and entrance requirements for St. Lawrence College. This college has campuses in Cornwall, Brockville and Kingston and has many programs that may be of interest to graduates.
INTRAMURALS: Floor Hockey Sign ups begin this week. Team forms are available at Mr. Prigent's office door. $1 per player. Deadline is Friday, November 16. First 8 teams paid make the cut.
DODGEBALL CONTINUES: TODAY - No Names vs Acidic Purple Rain and President's Choice vs Juggernaughts.
HIGH SCHOOL PLAY AUDITIONS: The auditions for the high school play will take place on Monday, Nov. 12, Tuesday, Nov. 13 and Wednesday Nov. 14 in room 131 (the new wing) from 3:15 till 5:30. Please put your name on the Audition List. Please bring your audition form with you.
REACH FOR THE TOP: Students interested in entering the annual Reach In-School Tourney should pick up team entry forms in Room 200 as soon as possible. Entry deadline is TODAY. The revolution continues...
ATTENTION GRADS: Your opportunity to purchase your "Class of 2008" grad ring has arrived!! Representatives from Jostens will be here to take orders TODAY at lunchtime. Catalogues are now available in the main office. A $60 deposit is required to place an order.
