HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
HS Ladies Golf: Looking for 1 final team member for the HS Ladies Golf team. Please see
Mr. Côté in room 310 if interested. (PC Sept 20)
Student Tutors needed -
interested in tutoring a younger student at SMT? Tutors are
paid $15/hour or you can earn community service hours. Tutoring takes
place from 3:00-4:00 at the school. Please see Mrs. McCarthy in Room 200
to pick up an application form. (KM Sept. 27)
Come with
friends and start your own JA (Junior Achievement) Company. Gain
valuable leadership, business, communication, and workplace skills plus new
friendships in a special chapter of the JA Company program running after school
for 15 weeks on Wednesdays beginning September 18th at the Viva

Looking to fulfill your volunteer hours or
a paying job? A student from Mrs. Parker’s
resource classroom needs a buddy to walk

Hockey: Any HS girls interested in playing hockey this year are
asked to sign up outside room 110 this week. If you are a returning

New York City 2020: Any Grade 11/12 students who are still interested in joining this spring's NYC trip are asked to see Mr. Rowley in Room 136 for information and permission forms. Boys' Basketball Open Gym: There will be open gym for any grade 9 - 12 boys'
interested in playing pick up games on

Ottawa-Carleton District School Board Fall 2019 Night School
Program registration forms have arrived at St. Mother Teresa High
School. Registration dates are from Monday, August 26th to Tuesday,
September 17th at Registration Office, 440 Albert Street, Room E122B, 9:00am to
4:30pm Forms must be signed by student, parent and guidance counsellor and
include student status sheet, proof of citizenship and Status in Canada and
proof of address.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
LF Volunteers. Watson’s Mill in Manotick wants you
to join their cast and crew for a truly haunting experience. They
need volunteers who will scare our visitors and leave them frightened
of things that go bump in the night.
Haunt Night volunteers will
be needed for the evenings of October 24, 25, and 26 from 5pm – 10pm.
All time spent as part of our cast and crew can be used towards the 40
hours of community service needed to graduate. Please sign up by emailing programs@watsonsmill.com
