SPC Cards For Sale! Do you want to save some big bucks when shopping this

HS Lunch in the Atrum. Students can use these cards to get special deals and

Lost and Found - Items collected
from lockers last spring and over the summer will be on display in the atrium
starting on Monday September 10th
until Friday, September 15th. Students and parents are encouraged to check
for lost items. On Friday at 3 pm, all items will be packed up
and donated to Big Brothers and Sisters. (SS Sept. 14)
Attention all students interested in
auditioning for this year's production of Radium Girls! Audition sign up sheets
are posted outside the drama room door (rm. 116). Auditions will take
place Thursday and Friday after school. See

7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS
7/8 Ultimate: Any 7/8
boys and girls interested in trying out for the 7/8 ultimate team are asked to
sign up outside the phys-ed offices on the the first floor. (KS Sept.14)
7/8 Golf Team: Any 7/8 student interested in joining the 7/8 Golf Team are asked to
attend a brief meeting in rm. 240 at the beginning of lunch on Monday Sept. 10. If you are
unable to attend the meeting, please see Mr. Quinn or Mr. MacDonald. (TQ
7/8 Cross- Country: Any grade 7 and 8
students interested in trying out for the cross-country running team are
invited to sign up outside the grade 7/8 phys. ed. office (located outside of
the tile floor-cafeteria gym.) Try-outs will start next Tuesday, September
10th after school. Please come dressed in proper running
attire (t-shirt, shorts, running shoes) and meet Mme Kinloch by the concrete

7/8 Boys Flag Rugby: Sign-ups for the 7/8 Flag Rugby Team are in front of
Mr. Connor's room (333). Tryouts will be
Monday, September 10th at 3:00pm and Tuesday, September
11th at 7:15 am. Meet in the
courtyard behind the school. See Mr. Connor for any questions or concerns.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
HS Leadership Camp Campers: There
will be meeting for all Campers Tuesday, September 11th in the chapel
at lunch. All Campers must be present. A friendly reminder to please pay your
camp fees before Friday. (CV Sept. 11)
Looking for New Leadership Camp Campers: There are
still a few spaces available for Grade 9 and Grade 11 students interested in
attending Leadership Camp. There will be a meeting Friday, September 7th in room 102 to pick up a permission form. (CV Sept. 7)
Students in
grades 9-12, if you have an iPad and need help with
setup/downloading the school apps, please drop by the Learning Commons
(Library) during HS lunch on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday this week. (NBD Sept. 7)
Honk n Blow: Any High School students who would like to volunteer at this
years Honk N'Blow, please see Mr. Card ASAP. (IC Sept. 12)
Europe Trip 2018- Last
call! We have an amazing and exciting trip planned this year to Italy and
Greece. Any other students interested - come and see Mrs.
Birmingham (room 230) or Mrs. Galbraith. (JB Sept. 7)
Cross Country: All high
school students who are interested in running Cross Country this year are asked
to sign up in Room 304 at lunch or after school all this week. The first
practice is Monday September 10! Please see Mrs.
Galbraith or Ms. Earle if you have any questions! Looking forward to
seeing some new faces and of course some returning ones this year! If you
haven't thought about running before, give it a try - It's lots of fun and only
as hard as you want to make it! See you on the trails!
Schedule Changes: Students looking
for a change to their schedule must pick up a form in Student Services.
Forms must be signed by a parent/guardian before submitting the request
to your counsellor. Students must follow their current timetable until a change
has been approved. Last day for schedule change is Tuesday, September 11th, 2018. (LB Sept. 14)
Junior Boys Soccer: Any Grade 9 or 10
boys' interested in playing on the JUNIOR BOYS' SOCCER TEAM are
asked to attend an important information meeting TODAY -Tuesday,
September 4th 2018 at lunch (11:30 am) in Room 136. The first
try out will take place on the field across the street from the
front on the school on Thursday, September 6th 2018 @ 3:00pm - 4:15pm,
followed by a second tryout on Monday, September 10th 2018 @3:00 -
4:15pm in the same location. If you have any questions or concerns

Open Gym - High School Boy’s Basketball .Any High
School boys' interested in playing pick up basketball are welcome to attend the
following open gym dates: Thursday, September 6th @ 4:30pm - 6:0

at Adult HS (300 Rochester Street) registration package is now
available in Student Services. Fall session runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings
from
6:00 pm
to 9:51 pm. Registration dates: now until September 18th. Pick
up a form in Student Services, have a parent/guardian sign, have your
counsellor sign it, attach a status sheet and go register at 440 Albert Street,
