Meet the Teacher Night: Wednesday, September 12th 6:30pm

Breakfast Club – The Breakfast Club is back ! The breakfast club runs out of the tuck shop in the atrium every morning till 8:30 a.m. It is free for all students, Grades 7-12. We know many of you are rushing out the door in the morning, so you are more than welcome to grab one or some of the following; a bagel, a piece of fruit, milk and/or a granola bar. The menu varies throughout the year but we want all students to know they are welcome and the program is for them! (KM Sept. 17)

School Choir for Grades 7 to 12 students: If you enjoy singing and want to be part of our school's vocal ensemble, there will be a meeting at 8:15 am in room 119 on Wednesday, September 12th. Bring your singing voices! (AC Sept. 12)

SPC Cards For Sale! Do you want to save some big bucks when shopping this year!? The Student Price Cards (SPC Cards) will be on sale for $10 next week at HS Lunch in the Atrum. Lost and Found - Items collected from lockers last spring and over the summer will be on display in the atrium starting on Monday September 10th until Friday, September 15th. Students and parents are encouraged to check for lost items. On Friday at 3 pm, all items will be packed up and donated to Big Brothers and Sisters. (SS Sept. 14)

7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Learning Commons lunch passes are now available to sign out. Please stop at the Learning Commons' main desk, before 8:35am, and sign out your lunch pass. (NBD Sept. 21)

Attention Grade 8 Student council reps: there will be a meeting this Wednesday the 12th of September in room 238 for all of lunch. Bring your lunch and don't be late! (KB Sept. 12)

7/8 Ultimate:  Ultimate try-outs will take place on Wednesday, September 12thThursday, September 13th and Friday, September 14th from 7:30 to 8:30 am. Meet outside behind the school. Bring soccer cleats if you have them.  (KS Sept. 14 )

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Tennis Team: If you are interested in being on the Tennis team this semester come to a meeting on Wednesday, September 12th at 11.25 in room 103. The turn around is very quick so this is a vital meeting if you are interested. 

BOSTON TRIP - Something for Everyone!!  Join us as St MT is Boston-bound in April 2019!  Our third-ever trip will bring us to a Red Sox game, tour of Fenway, Gillette Stadium – home of the Patriots, TD Gardens, Harvard, Hard Rock Cafe, Blue Man Group, Salem Witch Museum and ... we'll even stop by the Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory on the way home.  Too good to pass up! Lunch meeting on Thursday, September 13th in Rm 216 for those interested in joining us.

Any Grade 11 or 12 student who missed the New York City Spring 2019 Trip meeting can still pick up the information package from Mr. Rowley in Room 136. Deadline for the sign up for the trip is Friday, September 28th 2018. (MR Sept. 28)

HS Leadership Camp Campers: There will be meeting for all Campers Tuesday, September 11th in the chapel at lunch. All Campers must be present. A friendly reminder to please pay your camp fees before Friday(CV Sept. 11)

Honk n Blow: Any High School students who would like to volunteer at this years Honk N'Blow, please see Mr. Card ASAP. (IC Sept. 12)

Cross Country: All high school students who are interested in running Cross Country this year are asked to sign up in Room 304 at lunch or after school all this week.  The first practice is Monday September 10! Please see Mrs. Galbraith or Ms. Earle if you have any questions!  Looking forward to seeing some new faces and of course some returning ones this year!  If you haven't thought about running before, give it a try - It's lots of fun and only as hard as you want to make it!  See you on the trails!

Schedule Changes: Students looking for a change to their schedule must pick up a form in Student Services.
Forms must be signed by a parent/guardian before submitting the request to your counsellor. Students must follow their current timetable until a change has been approved. Last day for schedule change is Tuesday, September 11th, 2018. (LB Sept. 14)

The OCDSB Fall 2018 Night School Program at Adult HS (300 Rochester Street) registration package is now available in Student Services. Fall session runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 
6:00 pm to 9:51 pm. Registration dates: now until September 18th. Pick up a form in Student Services, have a parent/guardian sign, have your counsellor sign it, attach a status sheet and go register at 440 Albert Street, Room E122B between 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. (KW Sept. 18)

Algonquin College Presentation: Any Grade 12 student interested in attending Algonquin College next fall is invited to a presentation Wednesday, September 19th, at 8:50am in the Learning Commons.  Interested students must sign up in Student Services before the presentation.  (EB Sept. 19)
