WHOLE SCHOOL

BAKE SALE - Grade 7 students from 705 will be hosting a bake sale on Wednesday, June 13th during HS & 7&8 lunch to raise money for the future HS participants of the Guatemala Mission trip. Sweet treats for sale will include: cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, ice cream sandwiches, donuts and much more! Support a good cause while supporting your very own St. MT students and their future endeavours and efforts in Guatemala. (CP June 13)


7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS

Attention all grade 8 girls who are interested in playing HS GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY next fall. There will be an information meeting, led by grade 12 players, at 7&8 lunch on Tuesday June 12th in room 234. Please bring your lunch and come hear what the graduating players have to say about the sport, the season, the equipment, the rules and the tournaments. Our 2018-2019 season will begin promptly at the beginning of the 2018 school year, so come out and see if this sport is for you! (CP June 12)

Grade 8 Semi-Formal:  Grade 8 semi-formal will be taking place June 22nd from 5:30 to 8 p.m.  Online permission and payments need to be completed by Friday, June 8th(KS June 8)

7/8 Rugby Team: Are you looking for good sport to practice team work, respect and confidence? The Barrhaven Scottish rugby team is looking for new recruits between the ages of 7 to 17. It is a great hobby to be part of. For more information, contact the emails matching your age group on the flyers posted on the 2nd and 3rd floor.

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

REACH FOR THE TOP: The Reach for the Top Club Presents the annual Teacher–Student Showdown on June 6th (D-day) in the Learning Commons during Senior Lunch. Reach enthusiasts are invited to watch the in-school champions, GESEKIS, take on the teachers, led by Mr. Miller, Ms. Galbraith, Mr. Rowley, Mr. Mc Swiggan and a host of others. On this special occasion, players and spectators are allowed to bring lunches under the strict condition that all will be cleaned up. Backpacks, however are prohibited. (CH June 6)
High School Athletic Banquet will be hosted here at St. MT on Wednesday, June 13th. 
Dinner at 6:30 pm and Awards at 7:30 pm.  All High School Athletes are invited to attend. Tickets will be distributed during lunch at the Tuck Shop on Thursday, June 7, Monday, June 11th, and Tuesday, June 12th. Athletes are reminded that all outstanding athletic fees and items must be paid prior to receiving a ticket.  Please see Mr. Liska or your coach to clear these items. (JL June 12)

Driver's Ed: Come pick up your registration form in Student Services for the summer program.  You can register online at conted.ocsb.ca or by mailing/faxing/dropping off the registration form to the Continuing Education Department at 570 West Hunt Club Road. Registration runs until June 28, 2018. (KW June 28)

Youth Night: Starting Friday, June 8th every second Friday. For ages 12-16 at 7-9pm

Summer School: We have both the public and catholic school boards' summer school registration forms in Student Services.  Drop by early morning, lunch time, after school to pick up your forms. Students, parents and guidance counsellors need to sign these forms.  June 28th is the final registration date for both boards. (KW June 28)
