Lost and found - starting next Monday June 18,
items from the lost and found bin will be on display in the atrium. Students
and parents are encouraged to come and look through the items for lost items.
Any items remaining on Friday will be donated
to charity (Big Brothers and Sisters Ottawa). (SS June 22)
Ice Cream
Sandwiches! Ice Cold Soda! Fresh Popcorn! On sale both lunches on Friday,
June 15th. (Pre-order for a class party!)
All profits will support a St. MT student who was accepted to join the Junior
Team Canada Trade Mission to China this summer! (SM June 15)

Red Maple Club: A reminder to all Red Maple club
members of the Red Maple Celebration
this Friday, June 16th. Please report to your
homeroom class and after homeroom, go to the Learning Commons with
everything you need for the day. Final reminders: Bring a bottle of water and
dress in Red or
in costume as a character from one of the books (there will be a contest and
prizes for the best costume). (NBD June 14)
7/8 Rugby Team: Are
you looking for good sport to practice team work, respect and confidence? The
Barrhaven Scottish rugby team is looking for new recruits between the ages of 7
to 17. It is a great hobby to be part of. For more information, contact the
emails matching your age group on the flyers posted on the 2nd and 3rd
floor.

Peer Helpers: Check your e-mails if you want to set up to visit a grade 8 class to
talk about their transition to grade 9. Contact the teacher who's block
you'd like to visit and make it happen! The talking point list is on the sign
up sheet. (PC June 20)
Puppy therapy: The I Matter U Matter students have your success in mind and wish to
help you practice mindfulness by providing puppies to pet and hang out
with! Come alleviate some stress on Friday
June 15th and Monday, June 18th during HS lunch in the multimedia room
(across from the hospitality room, beside the auto shop) (KM and PC, June 18th)
Auditions for the high school play have been
postponed until September 2018. We look forward to seeing your auditions in the
fall! Please see Mrs. Rose if you have any questions. (MR June 19)

The STUDENT SERVICES WEBSITE at ss.mths.ca is
set up as an information tool, including information about: Community Service
Hours Opportunities, Courses, Careers, Graduation, Scholarships, etc.
Driver's Ed: Come pick up your registration
form in Student Services for the summer program. You can register online
at conted.ocsb.ca or
by mailing/faxing/dropping off the registration form to the Continuing
Education Department at 570 West Hunt
Club Road. Registration runs until June 28, 2018. (KW June 28)
Summer School: We have both the public and
catholic school boards' summer school registration forms in Student
Services. Drop by early morning, lunch time, after school to pick up your
forms. Students, parents and guidance counsellors need to sign these
forms. June 28th is the final registration date for both
boards. (KW June 28)
