HS Day 2

Lost and Found - items will be set out next Monday, June 19th in front of student services. Any
items left on Friday
June 23rd will be donated to the Boys and Girls club of
Barrhaven. (SS June 19)
At the end of the day,
the expectation for students who are not involved in any extracurricular
activities, is that students leave the building and make their way home.
Students who wish to remain after school to watch a school sporting event, are
also expected to leave immediately after the game. Make sure
transportation arrangements are made in advance. In the future, students
who are found loitering around the school at the end of the day will formally
speak to an administrator. (MK)
During the lunch period, no High School student
is permitted on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the new wing which is the 7/8
classroom areas. (MK)

High School Athletes are reminder to pick up their athletic T-shirts at the Tuck Shop during lunch on Friday, Monday, or Tuesday. (JL June 20)
Semester 1 Visual
Arts students: Students who left their artwork in room 102 to be displayed at the
Arts Gala and other events are asked to come and pick up their artwork in the
art room this week. (CR June 20)

The STUDENT SERVICES WEBSITE at ss.mths.ca is set up as an information tool,
including information about: Community Service Hours Opportunities, Courses,
Careers, Graduation, Scholarships, etc.
Driver
Education Program Summer 2017. Registration forms are now available in
Student Services. Register on-line at conted.ocsb.ca, by fax 613-224-9253, by mail or in person at the Ottawa Catholic
School Board, 570 West Hunt Club Road, Nepean. (KW)
Summer School Registration forms from the Ottawa Catholic School Board are now available in Student Services. Registration period is from May 1 to June 28. Final registration date is Wednesday, June 28, from 9am to 1pm at St. Nicholas Adult High School (West Campus) 893 Admiral Avenue. Forms must be completed/signed by student and parent and then approved by a Student Services counsellor. Summer school locations are Holy Trinity HS, Immaculata HS, St. Pius X HS and L.B. Pearson HS. L.B. Pearson has online courses only. (KW)

in time and replay a fun evening from the 1990's. Rewind with us to your
favourite decade at "90’s Flashback Trivia Night" at Tailgators –
1642 Merivale Road in Nepean on Wednesday, June 28. If
you’re totally Clueless, our fly decor will bring you right back to the best
decade of them all. Listen to your favourite songs from boy bands to Nirvana,
while digging into a 3 course themed meal and classic 90’s treats. Feel free to
dress in your best 90's get-up for an opportunity to win a wicked prize, get a
free 90’s makeover and grab a photo in our retro photo booth. Cha-ching raised
at this fundraising event go to the Children's Wish Foundation who grant wishes
to children with life threatening illnesses so don't forget to check out the

· LF Volunteers: We are having a Food Truck
Rally Event in Manotick , June 24th 2017, 11am-4pm. There will be 8 food
trucks, Thai, Mexican, Chinese, Ice cream, Texan, pizza,
seafood, desserts... Children's bouncy castle, Princess Manicures ( polish
only), balloons, tattoo parlour...We are looking for volunteers to help with
the event and would love to have some students come out help us for a
family and fun day! In return we can give the students volunteer hours. Every
student will be given a token for 2 beverages and 1 token for a food order.

a helium tank.Duties include; blowing up balloons and tying on a string for
children. Must be energetic, responsible and good around children. 20 mins
break for snacks. 2 Tattoo Parlor Assistants:
Duties include; placing a fake tattoo on child's arm or face using water. Must
be energetic, responsible and good around children. 20 mins break for snacks. 2 bouncy castle assistants: Duties
include; children guidance going in and out of the bouncy castle and mini slide
attached. Parents will be there as well. 20 mins break for snacks. 2 polish assistants: Duties include;
polishing nails for princesses. 20mins break for snacks
