Learning Commons Seminar Room - When not booked by a class, The Learning Commons Seminar Room will be a designated quiet study space.

7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS

Intramural Update: Futsal intramurals will begin Wednesday.  You have until the end of the day to sign up your teams. (KB Feb. 9)

Annual  Readathon for Gr.7/8 coming soon to LC at Mother Teresa. READ for FUN all day in the Learning Commons When?   Thursday February 25th. All are welcome to participate. Please sign up and pick up a pledge form in the LC (MP Feb. 25)

Grade 7/8 Titan B-ball Sigh-up and Try-out: Any grade 7/8 boy interested in trying out for the Titan basketball team please sign-up outside room 240 (Mr. Rusch's room) (GR Feb. 18)
Grade 7 tryout: Thursday, February 11th : 3-4 pm
Grade 8 tryout:  Wednesday, Feb 17th : 3-4 pm
Those who are invited to the final tryout Grade 7 and Grade 8: Thursday February, 18th  3:00-4:00 pm

7-8 Boys Hockey: Second Tryout is scheduled on Thursday February 11th @ Minto Recreation Complex from 3:15-4:50pm. *Only the students whose names are on the sheet outside room 332 are to come to the tryout* (JB -Feb 11)

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Those student's going on the NYC Trip this May are asked to meet in Room 136 on Wednesday, February 10th 2016 at the start of lunch - the meeting will include setting up rooming lists for our hotel nights. (MR Feb. 10)

Drama Expressions Workshop: Expressions is a full day of drama workshops on February 25. The cost of attending is $20. There are only 8 spots for high school students are 5 spots for 7/8 students. Permission forms need to be in by February 12.Students interested in attending the Drama Expressions Workshop are asked to see Mrs. Rose or Mrs. Cameron for a permission form. (MR Feb. 10)

After School Literacy Class:  The classes begin  (Tuesday Feb. 2) at 3 pm in room 135. All students interested in preparing to write the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test are welcome to attend.  Please drop your permission form to Mrs. Watkinson in Students Services. (AB)

Debate Club - The debate club will meet January 18th, February 8th, 22nd, March 7th. Meetings will resume again after the March Break. No experience needed. New students always welcome. Room 138. (JS March 7)
