ATTENTION GRADE 10 STUDENTS! This is a reminder that you must complete your on-line Passport to Safety Test and give the Certificate of Completion to your homeroom teacher TODAY. (Apr 8)

ATHLETIC COUNCIL: There will be a very important Athletic Council Meeting TODAY at 3:10 in Room 135. (Apr 8)

7/8 STUDENTS: Any students interested in setting a Guinness World Record please see Ms. Stewart in room 130 today at lunch for a quick meeting. (Apr 8)

JUNIOR BAND STUDENTS: This is a reminder to Junior Band Tenor Sax and Bass Clarinet Players - there is a sectional rehearsal TODAY after school. Attendance is Mandatory. Also, any student who has signed out an instrument is asked to return it by tomorrow morning to the music room. (Apr 8)

GRADE 12 BIOLOGY COMPETITION: Would students involved, please see Ms. D'angela in room 211, regarding the Grade 12 Biology Competition. (Apr 8)

STAND UP TO BULLYING: The Stand-up to Bullying meeting will take place Thursday this week instead of Wednesday, at lunch in the career centre. (Apr 9)

REACH FOR THE TOP: All members of Reach for the Top are asked to attend a short meeting on Thursday, April 9 at 12:37 in Room 233. ALL Reach for the Top players are asked to attend. (Apr 9)

TWILIGHT FANS: Starting on Tuesday April 7, the movie Twilight will be shown in the library during both lunches. Bring your lunch! (Apr 9)

LIVE IT UP: There will be an important meeting for all Live it Up members on Thursday April 9th during high school lunch. The meeting will start at 11:45 in the career center and all members are asked to attend. See you there! (Apr 9)

CHESS/CHECKERS CLUB: Hey Titans! If chess, checkers, or even backgammon, is your game, then this club is for you. We will be starting a Chess/Checkers club this week. No experience necessary. Even if you have never played, then this is the perfect opportunity to learn. Every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch you are welcome to bring your lunch to Room 300 and play a game or two. Any board game is welcome. Please bring your own boards for the next week or so. All grades are welcome. (Apr 9)

ATTENTION GRADE 7/8 STUDENTS: On Friday, April 17th from 1:30 - 3 PM, all Grade 7/8 students are invited to attend the "Spring Fling Fund-raiser Dance" featuring DJ Leo & Mrs. Antoine's Junior/Honour Band Snack Bar. Tickets cost $2 each and all monies raised will go toward various 7/8 initiatives. Purchase your ticket from your homeroom teacher by Thursday, April 16th. (Apr 17)

BLOOD DONOR CLINIC: Students interested in donating blood at the Mother Teresa Blood Donor Clinic (May 1st) can do so in their Homeroom (speak to your HR teacher). Students who do not have a class period 1 can see Mrs. McLaughlin in room 130 to sign up for the clinic. Minimum age is 17 years. (Apr 27)

SWEETS FOR SUDAN (GRADES 7-12): Anyone who would like to help support the Genocide Intervention Network by volunteering at a Mother Teresa Charity Bake Sale on Tuesday, April 21st, please go to Student Services after school and/or speak with student Sarah W. (Apr 17)

ATTENTION INTERESTED VARSITY GIRLS SOCCER PLAYERS: Please sign up outside Miss. Kuchma's Phys-ed Office if you are interested in trying out for the Varsity Girls Soccer Team. Mandatory tryouts will take place on Wednesday April 8 at 7:25 AM INSIDE and then Tuesday April 14th and Wednesday April 15th at 3:15 PM OUTSIDE. If for any reason you cannot be there, please talk to Ms. Gervais or Miss. Kuchma. Please be on time and dressed to play. (Apr 15)

CO-OP MEETING FOR STUDENTS: There will be a meeting for all students who have chosen CO-OP for next year on Thursday, April 9 at 11:00 a.m. in the multi-purpose room, rm. 131 (in the new wing). Students will receive an appointment slip for this meeting in their homeroom on Thursday morning. Please be sure to attend as important information and application forms will be given out. (Apr 9)

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: The Queensway Carleton Hospital is looking for student volunteers for this summer. Applicants must be 15 years old by Dec. 31, 2009 and have completed Grade 9.
