Day 2 - H.S. & Day 4 - Gr. 7 & 8

YEARBOOK: We are looking for photographers to take photos of our Earth Day activities on Thursday, April 22. Please come to a brief meeting TODAY at 11:45 am in room 103 if you are interested in helping out. As well, the last set of proofs has arrived! Yearbook students are invited to come to the meeting at lunch today to review the proofs and make any necessary changes. (Apr 14)

7/8 BOYS TOUCH FOOTBALL: The FINAL try-out for the 7/8 boys touch football team will be on Wednesday, April 15th at 3:15pm. Please check the list outside room 208, everyone on the list is expected to attend. We have gym C/D booked but if it is not raining, we will be heading outside behind the portables so be sure to bring your cleats. Anyone that cannot make this final try-out must speak to Mrs. Brownrigg before Wednesday afternoon. (Apr 15)

ATTENTION GRADE 7/8 STUDENTS: On Friday, April 17th from 1:30 - 3 PM, all Grade 7/8 students are invited to attend the "Spring Fling Fund-raiser Dance" featuring DJ Leo & Mrs. Antoine's Junior/Honour Band Snack Bar. Tickets cost $2 each and all monies raised will go toward various 7/8 initiatives. Purchase your ticket from your homeroom teacher by Thursday, April 16th. (Apr 16)

BLOOD DONOR CLINIC: Students interested in donating blood at the Mother Teresa Blood Donor Clinic (May 1st) can do so in their Homeroom (speak to your HR teacher). Students who do not have a class period 1 can see Mrs. McLaughlin in room 130 to sign up for the clinic. Minimum age is 17 years. (Apr 27)

ATTENTION INTERESTED VARSITY GIRLS SOCCER PLAYERS: Please sign up outside Miss. Kuchma's Phys-ed Office if you are interested in trying out for the Varsity Girls Soccer Team. Mandatory tryouts will take place on Wednesday April 8 at 7:25 AM INSIDE and then Tuesday April 14th and Wednesday April 15th at 3:15 PM OUTSIDE. If for any reason you cannot be there, please talk to Ms. Gervais or Miss. Kuchma. Please be on time and dressed to play. (Apr 15)

GRAD GOWNS: Grads are reminded to bring their $75.00 cheque to Room 130 to order their gown for commencement. Deadline is April 17th. (Apr 17)

SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION: Registration forms are now available for students interested in taking summer school courses during July. There are make up courses and reach ahead courses for high school students as well as numeracy/literacy courses for students in Grades 7, 8 & 9. If you are interested, please pick up a form and info package in the Student Services office. (Apr. 21)
