WHOLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Grade 7 & 8 Immunizations are taking place Oct. 16th and 17th.   If any parents have any questions or concerns please call our Ottawa Public Health Info line at 613-580-6744 and speak with a public health nurse.  Students are encouraged to eat a healthy breakfast. (MR Oct. 17)

Students with overdue books and fines are asked to go to the Learning Commons after morning announcements. (MP Oct. 17)

Soccer Baseball Starts TUESDAY OCTOBER 7th Time: 12:40: Location: small soccer fields.

3 on 3 Basketball team sign-ups on Monday October 20th and Tuesday October 21st, during lunch. 4 players per team.  (TF Oct. 21)

7/8 Student Council Members: Meeting Period 1 Day 1 in room 236. Please be prompt. (TF Oct. 16)

7-8 Girls Volleyball- There will be a practice for the 7-8 girls volleyball team on Thursday October 16 and Friday October 17th from 3:00-4:30pm in the Caf Gym. All paper work is due at Thursday's practice. Please let Mme Beraldin know if you cannot attend. (JB Oct. 16)

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today's (Friday) second Junior Boys Basketball tryout is postponed until next Friday, October 24th 2014 in the wood floor gym from 3:00pm - 4:30pm (MR Oct. 24)

Sr Boys Volleyball: Week of October 13th: Game at Deslauriers Tuesday Practices: 3:15 Wed; 7:15am Thurs and Fri. (MC Oct. 17)

Belize 2015 - Attention all adventurers who are signing up for the Belize Trip this April 2015!  The participant registration forms are in!  Come and pick up your form from Mrs. Ragaisis in the PE office.  Only 10 spots available - secure your spot asap!  If you love the beach and adventures on the water, this trip is for you! Senior Boys Basketball tryouts will begin on Monday, October 20th 2014 from 6:00PM - 7:30PM [wood floor gym] and Tuesday, October 21st at 4:30PM - 6:00PM [wood floor gym] - all interested Senior Boys should attend these first tryout nights. Do you have talent??? Perform at the upcoming Talent Show and Coffee House on November 12th 7-9pm. Signups for “Mocha Teresa” are posted outside room 216.  Auditions will be held October 20th – 24th at lunch and after school in the

CIBC Run for the Cure: On October 5th, the City is hosting the CIBC run for the cure.  If you are interested in completing some volunteer hours or making an MT running team, come in and talk with Mr. Côté in room 315 Wednesday September 17th at lunch. (PC Oct. 17)

The STUDENT SERVICES WEBSITE at ss.mths.ca is set up as an information tool, including information about: Community Service Hours Opportunities, Courses, Careers, Graduation, Scholarships, etc.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:


LF for volunteers to work with children at activity stations on Saturday, December 6th (Manotick Family Christmas Party) at the Manotick United Church from1:00 pm to 4:30 pm.  You must provide your own transportation to and from the church.  Please contact Laurel Slattery or Donna Ouellette at 613-692-4625.
