Students interested in participating in this year's Mini Enrichment are invited to pick up a Parent/Guardian Information Letter from either HS Resource, Rm 308 or 7/8 Resource, Rm 232. SPOTS ARE LIMITED!
Mini Enrichment runs the first week of MAY and is open to any students in Grades 8 to 11.
Students will take one course for the entire week at a local university
Cost is $170 per student (Payment: School Cash Online Only)
Students must get their own way to and from the university each day. .
Students are responsible for any school work they miss while attending the Mini Enrichment week (after discussing expectations with their subject teachers.)

Math Help:
All students in grades 6-11 can access free 1:1 math tutoring with Ontario Certified teachers online Monday-Friday 9am to 9pm and 3:30pm to 9pm Sunday. More information can be found here.
7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS
Pencil Crayon Club - A Reminder that the Pencil Crayon Club will meet on Wednesdays in the library at 12:25.
Attention all 7/8 Boys hockey players. The sign up sheets for the competitive and house league hockey teams are posted outside of the rooms 340 and 235. Alternatively, you can find the sign up link on the 7/8 sports page on the school website. Please ensure to read the entire sheet for all tryout information. See Mr. Lemieux for more information.
Attention Grade 7&8 badminton players. Badminton is back. Please sign-up outside Mr. Dancy's room (234) this week. There will be two tryouts held this week on Thursday and Friday from 7:15AM-8:25AM. See you there!
HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Student Tutors Needed for Math - We are currently in need of students in Grade 11 or 12 who can tutor math. Tutors are paid $15/hour or you can earn community service hours. Tutoring will take place virtually. Please complete the following form if you are interested or email; katie.mccarthy@ocsb.ca to find out more information or to ask for a form to be sent to you.
The Sprott Student Consulting Group (Carleton University) is currently looking for students in grade 11 or 12 interested in acquiring business-related experience. SSCG will allow high school students to acquire practical experience, expand their networks and enhance their management skills. Students will be assisting on projects via carrying out research on particular topics within their abilities as well as attending online team meetings. High school students are expected to commit on average 3 hours per week. With successful completion of the program, high school volunteers will be given reference letters from their respective team leaders. Red Pine Camp is looking for camp staff from the end of June to Labour Day. Work outdoors all summer with an incredible team of leaders. Must be 16 or 17 years old as of July 1st.
