Signed Parent/Guardian Permission Forms for Mini Enrichment are due no later than WEDNESDAY, MARCH 23rd. Form can be dropped off at either HS or 7/8 Resource. Thank you!

Students interested in participating in this year's Mini Enrichment are invited to pick up a Parent/Guardian Information Letter from either HS Resource, Rm 308 or 7/8 Resource, Rm 232. SPOTS ARE LIMITED!

  • Mini Enrichment runs the first week of MAY and is open to any students in Grades 8 to 11.

  • Students will take one course for the entire week at a local university 

  • Cost is $170 per student (Payment: School Cash Online Only)

  • Students must get their own way to and from the university each day. .

  • Students are responsible for any school work they miss while attending the Mini Enrichment week (after discussing expectations with their subject teachers.)

Math Help: 

All students in grades 6-11 can access free 1:1 math tutoring with Ontario Certified teachers online Monday-Friday 9am to 9pm and 3:30pm to 9pm Sunday. More information can be found here.

7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS

Carleton University is returning to in-person summer camps for summer 2022!

 

Registration will open Friday, April 1, at 12:00pm (noon). The camp schedule is now available on our website.

 

Camp Offerings

They will be running a reduced number of camps, offering their most popular camps like General STEM, Game Design, Programming, Connections, STEM Girls & Engineering. See the full schedule here

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Any High School students in grade 9-12 interested in joining this years track and field team are asked to attend a meeting at the start of lunch (11:30am) in Room 136 on Wednesday, March 30th 2022. If you have any questions please  see or email Mr. Rowley or Mrs. Mathieu

Student Tutors Needed for Math - We are currently in need of students in Grade 11 or 12 who can tutor math. Tutors are paid $15/hour or you can earn community service hours. The Sprott Student Consulting Group (Carleton University) is currently looking for students in grade 11 or 12 interested in acquiring business-related experience. SSCG will allow high school students to acquire practical experience, expand their networks and enhance their management skills. Students will be assisting on projects via carrying out research on particular topics within their abilities as well as attending online team meetings. High school students are expected to commit on average 3 hours per week. With successful completion of the program, high school volunteers will be given reference letters from their respective team leaders. Red Pine Camp Junior Staff Summer Employment
