Do you want to see amazing MT talent in a unique coffee house atmosphere??? Get your tickets at lunch Nov 4th or Nov 5th in the Atrium. The Coffee House is Wed Nov 12 from 7 to 9 pm. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for parents. Don't miss out! (SM Nov. 5)
MT students have a long tradition of participating in our local Legion's Poster and Writing Contest for Remembrance Day. It is a great way for some students to really shine and show their talent! This year we are looking for art, writing or even a video.
Posters can be in black and white or colour, with the theme- Remembrance. We are also looking for essays or poems. Students in the past have written stories, journals, recollections from family members, etc. Maximum words for the literary contest is 500, maximum lines for poetry is 32 lines. Posters and writing can be in French or English. (no larger than 56 X 71 cm - no bristol boards, canvas please....) If you have any questions, or would like a registration form, please see Mrs. Birmingham in room 327. Deadline is November 11th! Good luck! (JB Nov. 11)
7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS
HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
To help us honour the special people who have passed away in the last 12 months we will have our "Titans Book of Remembrance" available outside of the chapel. For the month of November, you will have a opportunity to write the name of your family member, friend, or loved one who has passed away and we will read their names as a Roll Call during ourWednesday Chapel Mass at the end of this month – Nov 25th. THRIVE: (bible study) gathers every Wednesday in the chapel. If you would like to join we start at 11:40. Grab your lunch first and meet us in the chapel today. (LD Nov. 5)

Interested in joining a band? Grade 11 and 12 students who want to perform or take take part in a band as a musician, vocalist, technician, videographer, etc. may be eligible to do a coop placement with Hummingbird Music next semester (February 2015). BOSTON TRIP: For any students taking business courses this year or next year, there is a FANTASTIC Boston trip planned. There are only 18 spots available. Pick up an information letter and an itinerary to share with your parents from a business ed. teacher. Attention all History on Film Club Members. This month's meeting has been postponed to Wednesday November 5 and Thursday November 6. The movie will be Schindler's List.
