HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Senior Boys Basketball tryouts will begin on Monday, October 20th 2014 from 6:00PM - 7:30PM [wood floor gym] and Tuesday, October 21st at 4:30PM - 6:00PM [wood floor gym] - all interested Senior Boys should attend these first tryout nights. If you have any questions please see Mr. Rowley in Room 136 (MR Oct. 20)

Junior Boys Basketball tryouts will begin on Wednesday, October 15th at 4:30PM - 6:00PM [tile floor gym] and Friday, October 17th at 3:00PM - 4:30PM[wood floor gym] - all interested Junior Boys should attend these first tryout nights. If you have any questions please see Mr. Rowley in Room 136. (MR Oct. 15)

Attention all Grade 11 and 12 students interested in going to the Toronto Field Trip to Medieval Times and the Royal Ontario Museum. There are still spots available. The deadline to bring in your cheque is this Wednesday.  If you are not taking Ancient History this semester but are still interested in going on the trip, you are still welcome. Please see Mrs. Galbraith in room 304 if interested. (MG Oct. 8)

Attention all High School Cross Country Runners.  There is an important meeting after school on Wednesday October 8 in Room 304 regarding the Meet on Thursday. Attendance is MANDATORY!

Sr. Boys Volleyball this week:

Debate Team High School: Students interested in joining the debate team are asked to attend a brief meeting in Rm 138 at lunch on Tuesday, October 7.  No experience is necessary.  You have the option of being a practice debater or a debating competitor.  If you are interested in current events and want a forum to express your opinions, then this is the right place for you. Do you have talent??? Perform at the upcoming Talent Show and Coffee House on November 12th 7-9pm. Signups for “Mocha Teresa” are posted outside room 216.  Auditions will be held October 20th – 24th at lunch and after school in the multipurpose room.  Self tapes may also be submitted to mthstalentshow2014@gmail.com.  Sign up now! CIBC Run for the Cure: On October 5th, the City is hosting the CIBC run for the cure.  If you are interested in completing some volunteer hours or making an MT running team, come in and talk with Mr. Côté in room 315 Wednesday September 17th at lunch. (PC Oct. 17)

Driver Education Forms are available in Student Services.  Registration period is until October 15th.

Looking for volunteers for the Haunt Nights, Watson's Mill in Manotick. October 23rd, 24th, 25th.

Pick one night or all three from 5pm to 9:30pm.  Pick up registration form from Student Services.

St. Luke is looking for two volunteers to help with movie night on October 17 from 5-9:30ish. Please contact stlukevolunteers@gmail.com if you are able to help out. (ER Oct. 17)
