7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS

7/8 GIRLS SOFTBALL: Try-outs for girls softball will continue on Monday after school. Please check for your name on the list outside room 333.  (KS June 2)

ATTENTION 7/8 STUDENTS.  The track and field results have been posted outside of Mr. Lussier's room.  If your name appears under a race-off, or jump-off, you are required to run in that race, or jump in that jump-off on Monday June 2nd at lunch.  These events on Monday are required to fill out the rest of the track and field roster as times/distances were so close.  (TQ June 2)

Please be aware that Friday, May 30^th is the last day to return Calypso permission forms. (EM May 30)

Student Provincial Vote June 6: Grades 9 to 12:

There will be a student vote in the atrium on Friday, June 6. Students will have the opportunity to vote for a member of provincial parliament (MPP).  Please research the different platforms of the following candidates and provincial parties so you can make an informed decision. STUDENT SERVICES

The STUDENT SERVICES WEBSITE at ss.mths.ca is set up as an information tool, including information about: Community Service Hours Opportunities, Courses, Careers, Graduation, Scholarships, etc.

The life for Dew Committee is a fundraising group formed to help in raising funds to cover the costs involved in Dew's recovery from as recent double lung transplant.  As a part of the fundraising efforts, this group will be providing Food Services for an annual softball tournament in Richmond.

The tournament takes place June 21/22 and September 6/7, 2014. Location is Richmond Lions Community Park on Huntley, near the arena.  For more information, please contact Terry at tl.garwood@hotmail.com or at 613-728-3525. (KW June 21)
