I am hoping to present a puppet show of Little Red Riding Hood at the Ruth E. Dickinson Library during March Break. For this project I need to have four student volunteers. I would like the volunteers to review and modify the script to their liking, make props, develop the stage directions, create the musical set list, and perform their production for about 100 children. The students will earn volunteer hours for this creative work. The puppets will be made by a professional puppeteer.
In the past, the students involved in our puppet shows have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately these students will be away over the Spring Break and it is time to bring in another troop of puppeteers.
If any of your students would be interested in this opportunity, please have them contact me by email at
ann-marie.miller@ottawa.ca or by phone at 613-580-2796.
Thanks for your assistance with this,
Annie

The MS Society of Canada Ottawa Chapter is holding their annual Mandarin MS Walk on Sunday, April 27th. We are looking to recruit over 200 volunteers to assist in a number of duties during the weekend of the event. In previous years a majority of our volunteers have been students from in and around the Ottawa area.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Forms are available in Student Services, the main office, or on the Mother Teresa website. (JH –Feb 28)
