HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

clip_image017 GOLF TEAM: Any HS students interested in being part of the high school golf team, please sign up in room 315. Try out will be on Thursday, September 12, at 3:05 pm. (KM Sep 12)

clip_image019 PARIS TRIP: Attention any high school students interested in participating in the Overseas Enrichment Trip in 2014.  The trip will be to Dublin, Wales, London and Paris. Registration is taking place now.  Please see Mr. Buccino in room 302.  All students my sign up by Sept. 30, 2013. (MB Sep 30)

PEER HELPERS: Attention all high school students interested in becoming a peer helper.  There will be a mandatory information meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 11at the beginning of lunch in room 302.  Please be prompt. (MB Sep 11)

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL: Attention all girls interested in playing high school basketball (junior and senior) Please sign up on the door of room 115 (fitness studio) if you are interested in playing basketball this year. There will be a meeting in room 115 at 11:30 on Monday, September 9th.  The try-outs are Tuesday, September 10th, Wednesday September 11th, and Thursday September 12th at 3:00 in the wood floor gym.  Please see Mrs. Ragaisis or Mrs. Swenson if you have any questions. clip_image021HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY RUNNING TEAM: All high school students who are interested in joining the High School Cross Country Running team, please sign up with Mrs. Galbraith in Room 304 at lunch or after school. There are NO cuts in Cross Country Running so come and run for fun, run to get in shape or run to race. It’s up to you. Looking forward to seeing you! (MG-Sep 10)

NIGHT SCHOOL- FALL 2013 – OTTAWA -CARLETON DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD - September 16th to December 2nd.  Registration during the day can be done at 440 Albert Street (Continuing Education).  Evening registration is at the school offering your course choice (Adult High School or Merivale HS) on Tuesday, September 10 (6pm to 7:30 pm) and Wednesday, September 11 (6pm to 7:30 pm).

To register in person, you must have registration form with all information fields completed, signed by you, your parent and guidance counsellor.  $80 (cash or money order) textbook deposit. Registration deadline is Wednesday, September 11th.  Forms are available in Student Services. (KW SEP 11)
