WHOLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

REGISTER NOW: For A Lung Run and receive a $5 subway giftcard if you are a student from Mother Teresa. A lung Run is a new Barrhaven fall run. All proceeds go to Helene Campbell Give2live campaign. The run is October 5 and starts and finishes at Mother Teresa. Cash Prizes will be given to the top 5 men and women in the 5 and 10k runs. JOSTENS: Mark your calendars. Jostens Rings will be coming in to our school, during senior lunch, on October 23rd, 24th and 25th.  More information to follow soon. (KW Oct 25)

7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS

VOLLEYBALL: Anyone interested in playing volleyball please sign up outside room 336 (Ms. Brennan's room).  And please listen to the announcements on Monday for details about tryouts. (KN Sep 27)

BOYS FLAG RUGBY PRACTICES: will continue Monday and Wednesdays from 3:00-4:00.  Please bring cleats and water.  Chalk talk on Fridays at lunch in room 237. (JD Oct 2)

THE GRADE 7/8 DANCE CLUB: is back again this year!!! The club will run Monday's from 3:00-4:00 in the High School Dance Room. Our first club meeting will be this Monday September 30th. All are welcome, no dance experience required. Have fun dancing, meeting new people and being physically active. (AD Sep 30)

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

ASSISTANT COACH: Any high school student interested in becoming an assistant coach/helper for the grade seven and eight volleyball teams (boys and girls) please see Ms. Brennan in room 336 after school today for more information. (KB Sep 30)

CHOIR PRACTICE - students please meet in the chapel on Friday Sept 27th at lunch. Another practice will be on Tuesday Oct 1 at lunch in the chapel. Please bring your lunch, the music and water. MANGA CLUB: Will now meet every Friday during lunch in the Learning Commons (Seminar Room). New members are welcome. (NBD Sep 27)

HIGH SCHOOL TUTOR: Any high school student interested in being a tutor for students at Mother Teresa HighSchool, please come to Student Services to fill out an application. Tutoring takes place at the school. For more information go to Student Services. (TC Sep 27)

NEW YORK CITY TRIP: is quickily filling up.  There are only 6 spots remaining.  Those students still interested in going on the trip must have their first payment deposit and permission form handed in to Mr. Rowley by Friday, September 27th 2013 in Room 136.  Students who need information and the necessary forms should see Mr. Rowley ASAP. PARIS TRIP: Attention any high school students interested in participating in the Overseas Enrichment Trip in 2014.  The trip will be to Dublin, Wales, London and Paris. Registration is taking place now.  Please see Mr. Buccino in room 302.  All students my sign up by Sept. 30, 2013. (MB Sep 30)

Goalie Coach Wanted: Earn volunteer hours.  NMHA House League Novice B is looking for a dedicated high school student to coach a first year 8 yr old goalie. The University of Ottawa is hosting a fall open house on Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th.  This event was previously known as U of Ottawa Day.  Two entire days of activities for students, including presentations on admission, financial aid and academic programs.  If you have questions, feel free to contact The Liaison Team at 613-562-5779. Mother Teresa… Did you know…??
