WHOLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

LIBRARY: The first homeroom to have all books returned and fines paid by Monday, June 20 will receive ice cream bars! (CHV –Jun 20)

FREE GOODLIFE TEEN MEMBERSHIP THIS SUMMER: Youth aged 12 -17 can take advantage of a free fitness program at any Goodlife Fitness club starting July 2nd 20011 until August 31st. The program is available 7 days a week between 8am to 4pm. Information can be found at http://www.goodlifefitness.com/TeenFitness/Default.aspx. (CHV -Jun 24)

LAST DAY FOR CAFETERIA SERVICE: The last day for cafeteria service is Friday June 24. There will be no caf service for June 27 - 28, so all staff and students are reminded to bring a lunch on those days. (CB –Jun 24)

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

GUITAR SHOWCASE: There will be a guitar showcase today in the library during high school lunch. Bring your lunches to the library and enjoy some music played by Mother Teresa's talented guitar players. (AC –Jun 20)

STUDENT SERVICES

CHILDCARE NEEDED – $ PAID OPPORTUNITY: Mother seeking before and after school childcare for 2 children attending St. Luke's Elementary School. Hours of care: approximately, 7:30 am - 9:00 am and 3:40pm - 6:00 pm. Start date would be September 2011 for the entire school year. The girl is 10 years old and the boy is 6 years old. ALGONQUIN SLICE ORIENTATION – NEW DATE: Algonquin College's Strategic Learning in the College Environment (SLICE) orientation has been changed to Friday, August 26, 2011. Those students registering on-line for this event through Algonquin College, please make note of the change in date. (CW –Jun 20)

GRADUATION CEREMONY 2011: This year’s graduation ceremony takes place on Wednesday June 29^th, at 1:00 pm, at Mother Teresa High School. Please make sure you have picked up your tickets in Student Services. (SD –Jun 20)
