The shed will be locked up during the day and unlocked at 2:55 so students can pick up their equipment and load the bus. Students are dismissed at 2:55 to load busses. Please be on time, the bus leaves at 3:10 sharp. Helmets are mandatory. If you don’t have one, you can rent one for $7. Bus returns to the school at 9 pm so please ensure your ride is here. RECYCLE YOUR PRINTER CARTRIDGES: The science department is collecting ink cartridges for a recycling program. We would like to extend the opportunity for you to bring in any of your old/used ink cartridges. You can drop them off to any science teacher, and we will take care of them. This provides a more environmentally conscious way of disposing these cartridges. We will be accepting them all year round! (LB – Dec 11)

SNOWBOARD RAFFLE: The Snowboard Race Team will raffle a 157cm Rossignol snowboard with Ride bindings to help raise money for race bibs. MT and 6 other schools will be involved with a total of 600 tickets to be sold (good odds). Tickets are $2 or 3 for $5 and will be sold at lunch. SNOWBOARD RAFFLE: The Snowboard Race Team will raffle a 157cm Rossignol snowboard with Ride bindings to help raise money for race bibs. MT and 6 other school will be involved with a total of 600 tickets to be sold.(good odds) Tickets are $2 or 3 for $5 and will be sold at lunch. JUNIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL PRACTICE: Any and all girls interested in participating in the Junior Girls Volleyball team are asked to attend the following practices: Tuesday Dec. 15th - 7:30 am Gym A/B, (you must be changed and ready to go at 7:30 am), and Wednesday Dec 16th at 3:30 in the weight room. U OF O SCIENCE LECTURES: The University of Ottawa is having their holiday science lectures on December 28th and December 29th. The Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Science organize these lectures to give young people and their parents a dynamic and interesting view about science and engineering. NEPEAN OUTREACH TO THE WORLD (NOW) is looking to lend a hand to the small town of Tutumdara in Afghanistan. It is situated north of Kabul. Tutumdara has one high school for boys and one high school for girls. NOW is looking for volunteers in the following areas: sorting material donations for culturally appropriate items, researching info and preparing materials for presentations, developing and expanding the current website and translation and cultural awareness.
