Grade 7 & 8 Opportunity: Grade 7/8 students interested in participating in the Legislative Page Program are encouraged to pick up information in room 322. Criteria for involvement in the program include: a level 4 academic standing, involvement in extracurricular & community activities, an interest in current affairs, good social skills, leadership, responsibility, maturity, commitment and teamwork.
Gr. 7/8 Boys Volleyball: There is a practice TODAY at 3:10 p.m.
Prom Committee Meeting: There is a Prom Committee meeting on Wednesday, November 1st at lunch in the library seminar room.
Take Our Kids To Work Day: On Wednesday, November 1, Grade 9 students will be participating in Take Our Kids To Work Day. On that day, there will be no classes for Grade 9 students and they will be expected to accompany a parent, guardian, neighbour, or friend to work and job shadow for the day.
Algonquin College Visit: A representative from Algonquin College will be here on Thursday, Nov. 2, at 9:05 a.m., in the Library, to speak to the grads interested in attending Algonquin this fall. Students must report to their period 1 class, prior to coming to the Library.
Intramurals: High school intramural sign-ups for soccer continue until this Friday, Nov 3rd. Please pick up registration forms outside gym A/B and drop off the completed form with the money to the same place ASAP.
Door Decorating and Costume Contests!!! TODAY there are TWO spirit building activities. All homerooms are to decorate their doors for Halloween. Doors will be judged between 9:10 and 9:30am. Judges will NOT return to incomplete doors. Judging is based on creativity, respect for Catholic beliefs, use of colour and overall appearance. As well, there will be a costume contest on the stage in the cafeteria at both senior and junior lunch. Come and vote for the best dressed Titans!!
