Student Council Elections: Students in grade 8 are encouraged to run for Gr. 9 class rep positions on the Mother Teresa Student Council for 2007-2008. An information meeting for grade 8 students will be held during the morning break TODAY in Room 202. Come and have your voice heard as a member of next year's Student Council!!
An Evening of the Arts: Showcasing Grade 7 and 8 Talent: Friday, April 20th, 7:00 p.m. Come out and support your talented classmates! The evening includes art displays, band performances, dance performances and two dramatic presentations: "After Math" and " Le Célibataire : Un Conte de fée!". Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at the door (Doors open at 6:30 p.m.) or during 7/8 homerooms.
Grade 7 & 8 Girls Touch Football: Practice tonight is cancelled due to the 7/8 girls basketball semi-final game today after school. Our next practice will be on Thursday at 3:15pm.

Income Tax Refunds: As of today, Mr. Baldin's income tax club has completed over 70 income tax returns for the students of Mother Teresa that value over $10,000 in refunds. If you were 16 or older on Dec. 31 of 2006, come see our grade 11 and 12 tax experts in room 216 after school.
Grads: Graduates are reminded to go to room 322 by April 26th to order their gown for commencement exercises. A $65 cheque, made payable to "Mother Teresa High School" should be submitted at that time.
Notice for Grads: Carleton University has an enriched support program (ESP) for graduating students who do not quite meet the traditional admissions requirements for university. It will enable you to start university on a part time basis with extra support. If you are interested in finding out more about this program, there is a meeting on Thursday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Carleton University in room 303 of Patterson Hall.
