Attention Grade 7/8 Band Students: A reminder that our first concert is coming up on April 21st. The music we will be playing will be O Canada, Ceremonium and Eagle Summit March in your book. Please look over your parts during the March Break.
Library Notice: The library will be closed after school TODAY and TOMORROW.
CO-OP Presentation: There is a presentation for students interested in next years Co-op program in the library at the beginning of period 2 today. Students must sign in upon entering the library. The presentation will take 45 minutes.
Reach For The Top: Should vegetarians be allowed to eat animal crackers? This and other life-mysteries will be tackled in today's trivia meltdown featuring the Purple Onions and Shoulda Grads. Location: Crazy Kitchen. Buzzer activation unfolds at 11:50 am.
Lacrosse Team: There will be a practice for all students coming out for the Lacrosse team on today at 3:15 at the wood floor gym. You must have a helmet with a cage, and a lacrosse stick. Check the notice on the door of room 104 for more details. If you have any questions please see Coach Denis during lunch time at 12:00 in room 104.
Lenten Lifestyle Awareness Calendar: We will be collecting money this Friday, in the Atrium, during homeroom.
FOCUS Programs: Any student interested in applying for one of the FOCUS programs that were on display in the Atrium on Tuesday must fill in application form. Forms and information sheets are available in the Student Services office. The deadline is this Friday, March 9.
Games Room: Mother Teresa has a new games room open to all students before and after school. Come check it out, we are located in the Dance studio (near the Gym) - all activities are $1 - ping pong, air hockey, foosball and pinball. High school students can come at lunch and 7/8's can sign up for upcoming lunchtime tournaments that will be advertised in homeroom. All money raised goes to the school phys. ed. department.
High School Track and Field: Track and Field season is about to begin. If you are interested in competing in this year’s High School Track and Field team please sign up outside the wood floor gym. There is a sheet for running events and for field events. Please sign up and check off the events you are interested in learning or competing in this year. There will also be an important meeting for all track and field athletes on Friday, March 9 at lunch in portable 9. We hope to see you there!
