Key Club
Hey Titans the SMT Key Club is holding a 50/50 raffle for mental health month. 50% of the money will go to the Canadian Mental Health Association, the other 50% will go to the winner. Please consider making a donation by scanning the qr code on a poster around the school or by the link in our bio @smt.key.club on instagram.
We will be collecting until February 11th and the winner will be announced on the 13th. These times are especially hard for mental health and the donations are going to make a big difference.

Math Help:
All students in grades 6-11 can access free 1:1 math tutoring with Ontario Certified teachers online Monday-Friday 9am to 9pm and 3:30pm to 9pm Sunday. More information can be found here.

Pencil Crayon Club - A Reminder that the Pencil Crayon Club will meet on Wednesdays in the library at 12:25.
Attention all 7/8 Boys hockey players. The sign up sheets for the competitive and house league hockey teams are posted outside of the rooms 340 and 235. Alternatively, you can find the sign up link on the 7/8 sports page on the school website. Please ensure to read the entire sheet for all tryout information. See Mr. Lemieux for more information.
Attention Grade 7&8 badminton players. Badminton is back. Please sign-up outside Mr. Dancy's room (234) this week. There will be two tryouts held this week on Thursday and Friday from 7:15AM-8:25AM. See you there!

The Study and Go Abroad Virtual Fair is this Friday and Saturday, February 25 & 26. We look forward to welcoming students, parents and educators to this online forum. The event is a great opportunity for students to start planning their next step in education, whether it's at Undergraduate or at PostGraduate level, at home or abroad.
At the fair, students can meet virtually with universities, colleges and professional schools from around the world, including Canada, chat with exhibitors by text-based or video chats, download brochures and attend webinars. The Sprott Student Consulting Group (Carleton University) is currently looking for students in grade 11 or 12 interested in acquiring business-related experience. SSCG will allow high school students to acquire practical experience, expand their networks and enhance their management skills. Students will be assisting on projects via carrying out research on particular topics within their abilities as well as attending online team meetings. High school students are expected to commit on average 3 hours per week. With successful completion of the program, high school volunteers will be given reference letters from their respective team leaders.
