Every year The Salvation Army counts on regular citizens to fill much needed fundraising positions, whether in a volunteer role or as an employee of our organization. We are in need of many volunteers for this year as restrictions are loosening and providing us with a better avenue to raise funds for those less fortunate. Please see the link below for more information.
The Sprott Student Consulting Group (Carleton University) is currently looking for students in grade 11 or 12 interested in acquiring business-related experience. SSCG will allow high school students to acquire practical experience, expand their networks and enhance their management skills. Students will be assisting on projects via carrying out research on particular topics within their abilities as well as attending online team meetings. High school students are expected to commit on average 3 hours per week. With successful completion of the program, high school volunteers will be given reference letters from their respective team leaders.
