All students in grades 6-11 can access free 1:1 math tutoring with Ontario Certified teachers online Monday-Friday 9am to 9pm and 3:30pm to 9pm Sunday. More information can be found here.

Do you care about global solidarity? SMT has a few subsidized spots available for students at the upcoming 'Youth 4 Others Advocacy Symposium'. The theme is Solidarity in a COVID 19 World. This is a virtual event on Oct. 23-24 where you will be able to listen to inspiring speakers, participate in meaningful workshops, and connect with others who are seeking to build a just future for all. Through solidarity, we can address vaccine inequity, global migration and social and ecological justice issues. The SMT Debate Team will hold their first meeting Monday, September 27 at 3:30 pm. We will be meeting virtually to start, and are always looking for new members. Walking Buddy Needed - We are currently in need of a responsible student in Grade 9 - 12 who is interested in being a walking buddy for a gr. 8 SMT student after school at 2:50. The student lives in the area of Farm Boy and Adrienne Clarkson School. You can earn community service hours. Please click on this link to access information regarding the Ontario University Fair's virtual events happening this year. All Ontario universities will participate in these events. The events are free and anyone may attend. Each event will be divided up into four 30-minute sessions, where students can learn about the universities of their choice and ask questions.

Registration for the OCDSB Virtual Night School session is open and closes on Monday, September 20th at 4pm.
