Carleton
University will be running TECHNOVATION virtually this year
for any interested Girls (ages 10 - 18). For more information on Technovation,
please visit their website: https://technovationchallenge.org/ They are also offering the credit
course ICS2O Technovation again this year, through the University of Ottawa.
This will also be fully virtual. As in previous years, workshops
will be on Wednesday evenings, starting in January. You will find the
registration for the English workshops, French Workshops and Credit Course

wide kickoff for students will be on November 21. You
do not have to be registered for Technovation to attend. Any girls who might be
interested in the program, are welcome! This will be a fun, informative session

Year is a structured gap year program that helps students develop career and
leadership skills through paid work terms, volunteer, travel, weekly life
skills workshops, and coaching. The program prepares students for making a
post-secondary and career direction decision they’re confident and excited
about.
Discover Year’s Fall Open House is on November
26th - it’s a great opportunity to hear from current and former Discover
Year students and their parents, and to learn about the details of the program.
