Faith Mentorship Day: The field trip with the Chaplain, which was scheduled for this Thursday was cancelled due to the job action and will not be rescheduled.  Sorry to those who had been invited and returned permission forms. (LD March 5)

Summer Employment/Community Service Opportunities for Students
·  Waupoos Farm: There are several youth summer employment opportunities at Waupoos including Program Supervisors, Maintenance and Animal Care, Lifeguards and Camp Counsellors.  Application Deadline is March 18, 2020. (LB March 18)

Nominations for the RBC Spirit of the Capital Youth Awards are now open. Nomination packages have already been sent by email to teachers. In order to be recognized, they must complete the nomination form at www.youthottawa.ca/nominate.  Any individual 21 and under as of January 1, 2020 can receive an award. They must reside within the Ottawa municipal limits. 7 award categories, 14 youth recipients, $1,000 bursary. See posters in the atrium. (KW March 19)

Animation Portfolio Workshop: Character Design Contest. 1st Prize - free APW tuition for the 2020-2021 session of classes. Enter Online - animationportfolioworkshop.com  Contest is open from January 1st to April 24, 2020. Also, visit the website to see about the O'Keefe Scholarship. The scholarship covers the full tuition for the APW 2020-2021 session. (KW April 24)
