The Ottawa Safety Council is a non-profit organization that hires/trains/manages the crossing guards. They are looking to hire for Beatrice Drive at Calaveras Avenue on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 3:30 pm to 4:10 pm.  The pay is $16.75 per 40 minute shift. Training will be provided. Nominations for the RBC Spirit of the Capital Youth Awards are now open. Nomination packages have already been sent by email to teachers. In order to be recognized, they must complete the nomination form at www.youthottawa.ca/nominate.  Any individual 21 and under as of January 1, 2020 can receive an award.
