Anti-Bullying week: Did you know that 75%
of students have been affected by bullying? Everyone has heard about it, seen
it, experienced it. Let's take some time this week to tip the scales! Be on the
lookout for classroom activities as well as lunch activities. All organized by

Ireland, England & Wales Trip (March Break
2021) - Any student currently in Grades 8 to11 are invited to pick
up an information package about this exciting trip outside room 203 or 211.

The Scholastic Book
Fair is in the Learning Commons: Every year
Scholastic provides several amazing books and gifts to purchase in our
“bookstore” (Learning Commons Seminar Room). Both high school and intermediate
students are welcome to drop by before, after school, or during the lunch hour.
All funds raised are used to buy literacy resources for our Learning Commons.

Gym-Basketball: Once a week, starting this Wednesday at 7h30 am, there will be an
open gym for the grade 7-8 interesting in playing basketball before the

is a STEAM (science, tech, engineering, arts, math) and entrepreneurship
program for students in grades 10 and 11. Labs, seminars, hands-on
workshops, a hands-on challenge to develop a plan and prototype that solves a
real-world issue. Live on campus at a Canadian university in July. Application
deadline is November 18, 2019. Shad2020 runs from July 5 to July

holding a Parent-Student Information Night on November 19 at
the RA Centre in Ottawa.Courtside A (2451 Riverside Dr, Ottawa, ON K1H 7X7)
from 7-9 PM and we hope to see your students there. 200+
degree combinations, scholarship information, residences, and more! We will
also have Alumni present who are living in the Ottawa area and
sharing their personal experiences from their time at Acadia. If students are
interested in applying, we will be waiving the application fee and offering on
the spot admissions. They will just need a copy of their transcript, it
