Photo Retakes are October 8t:
Retake Policy, If you require a photo
retake you MUST return your original photo package to the photographer in
exchange for a retake photo and new photo package. Please note there
are no retakes for student ID cards only. If you missed the original
picture day and have not had your picture taken, you must do so for the
yearbook and your student ID card at no charge. If you wish to purchase a photo
package you may bring payment to the photographer on retake day or place an

Grade 12 Blood services students. All students planning on donating
blood on Thursday, October 3 (this
Thursday), must come to room 204 at the beginning of lunch for
a short meeting and to submit paperwork (if they haven't done so already!)
TITANWEAR IS ON SALE NOW.
This year's Titanwear campaign will run
until October 15. The flyer and the link to order is on the
school website at the bottom of the "our school" tab. Grad wear
is also available. Sample sizes are in Room 216. Come on up any

7/8 Boys Volleyball: Tryouts
will be Wednesday and Thursday after

grade 7/8 students interested in VEX IQ robotics is asked to sign up in the
Learning Commons before Friday October 4, 2019. The first meeting for the
Robotics club will be Wednesday October 9, 2019 at the beginning of lunch in

Spectrum: There will be a meeting today, October 2nd
for all high school students concerned about issues affecting LGBTQ+ students

Peer Helpers: Are you interested in helping out the school community in various ways?
Help 7&8's learn about their school and make meaningful connections to help
you peers. Come join the intro meeting this Thursday, October 3rd in room 310, at

school students, Shakespeare first-timers and fans alike. Find your voice, build
confidence, and hone your public speaking chops by participating in the 26th
Shakespeare on the Platform competition, November 6th at 6 PM in the
University of Ottawa - Academic Hall.
Explore the seasons of life and the human condition: love, loss,
courage, hatred, politics ... in the Bard's brilliant soliloquies and
sonnets. Get expert feedback and win some of the $1250 in prize
money.

Learners and other students requiring support.
The Program:
● Saturday learning will develop skills for
improved literacy (oral communication,
reading and writing) and numeracy. Students
will have opportunities to collaborate, leverage technology, develop study
habits, improve learning skills. Students can prepare for EQAO testing, school
day projects, tests, quizzes and culminating activities, etc. Students will
have access to technology. Fitness activities will also be incorporated into
the Saturday Learning Club. No cost to families. FREE to all students.
How to Register: Students currently enrolled in grades 8 or 9,
10. This program is designed for
students who are presently achieving at level
2 or lower. Regular attendance is required. Parents must complete and sign the
required registration form. The student’s day school principal must approve the

High School Credits in Ireland? The Irish Experience.
This is a 4-week credit program in Ireland At University settings in

Driver Education Program - Fall 2019 - registration forms
have arrived in Student Services. Registration runs until October 5th.
Students must be at least 16 years of age and have as G1 license prior to
October 21st. Fee is $705.12. (KW Oct. 21)
The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board Fall 2019 Night School
Program registration forms have arrived at St. Mother Teresa High
School. Registration dates are from Monday, August 26th to Tuesday,
September 17th at Registration Office, 440 Albert Street, Room E122B, 9:00am to
4:30pm Forms must be signed by student, parent and guidance counsellor and
include student status sheet, proof of citizenship and Status in Canada and
proof of address.

secondary options the week of September 23rd. We would like to invite
parents of grade 12 students to attend the presentation on October 3rd from 6pm-7:30 pm at St. Mother Teresa HS. It
will take place in the Learning Commons. The presentation is also available

Blood donation on Thursday, October 3rd. Any 17 or

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
LF Volunteers: for the Manotick
Family Christmas Party following the Manotick Lions Christmas Parade on
Saturday, December 7, 2019. Require students from 1pm to 4:30pm on that
day. Must provide own transportation to and from the church (Manotick

LF Volunteers. Watson’s Mill in Manotick wants you to join their cast and crew for a
truly haunting experience. They need volunteers who will scare our
visitors and leave them frightened of things that go bump in the night.
Haunt Night volunteers will be needed for the evenings of
October 24, 25, and 26 from 5pm – 10pm.
All time spent as part of our cast and crew can be used towards the 40
