Craft Club: The grade 7/8 craft club meets every Friday at lunch in room 233. Bring your lunch and get ready to be creative! All grade 7 and 8 students welcome!

Toronto Biology Competition Participants - meeting on Tuesday, April 2 at lunch in room 202. Please bring your lunches with you. Competition date is Thursday April 25th. (SS April 2)

Brock University is holding a two-day science experience for all students in grades 10 and 11 on May 9-10, 2019.  This is an opportunity to learn about diverse areas of science, careers in science-related fields, perform hands-on science projects, meet and network with professionals, experience residence life.  Visit their website at brocku.ca/scientificallyyours. 2019 US College Expo, April 10th, 6pm to 9pm at National Gallery at 380 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, rsvp/pre register at: uscollegeexpo.com Free admission. 


Summer School registration forms are now available in Student Services.  Register from March 6th to June 28th. All forms must be signed by student, parent/guardian and guidance counsellor.
Final registration date is June 28th (9am to 1pm) and must be done at St. Nicholas Adult High School located at 893 Admiral Avenue.

Young Women in Public Safety Program will be held from July 15-19, 2019. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to visit several federal public safety organizations in the National Capital Area, such as: Canada Border Services Agency, Cdn Security Intelligence Service, Correctional Service Canada, just to name a few. For more information, visit canada.ca/gcjobs and check out the leaflets in Student Services. Complete the application process through the Federal Student Work Experience program.

Attention Ski and Snowboard Club Members: If you require a refund for any missed ski days, please get a form from the office anytime from Monday the 25th of March - Friday the 30th of March.  Refunds will not be made until the first week of April. (KB March 30)

BookFace Photo Contest in the Learning Commons: Bookface involves strategically lining up your face or another body part alongside a book cover that features a matching body part so that there appears a melding of life and art. (New York Times) Find a book in the LC and take a photo of yourself with the book in place of your own face or body. Examples are on display near the main Learning Commons entrance. All photos must be handed into the LC main desk by Friday, March 29th before 1pm. Photos will be on display in the LC during the month of April. Teachers will be judging the photos and prizes will be awarded to the winning entries. Be creative, have fun, and keep reading! For all 7/8 TECHNOVATION participants: a reminder that your coding workshop on March 30th is scheduled at Algonquin College from 9 am - 12. Also all teams MUST register all team members AND have their parent permission forms signed by this Wednesday's, March 20th by 8 PMThis week's session will be held at Ericsson - 349 Terry Fox Rd. Teams will be learning about marketing plans and pitch. (SH March 30)

Lunch is NOT provided (There is a volunteer room nearby for lunch and breaks, as well as the Museum Cafeteria).  We encourage volunteers to bring food/drink to get them through their time with us or purchase food at the Museum Cafeteria.
