WHOLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

PIZZA FOR SALE: Pizza will be sold Tuesday and Thursday after school, for the month of January, for $2 a slice. Please come out and support our Costa Rica trip. (SR –Jan 31)

7/8 ANNOUNCEMENTS

GRADE 7/8 PLAY: There will be a drama meeting for all participants in the Grade 7-8 play on Wednesday Jan 11, 2012 from 3:00pm-4:00pm in room 328. (JB –Jan 11)

BOYS FLOORBALL: Any 7/8 boys interested in trying out for the Floorball team, please sign up in front of Mr. Quinn's office during lunch. The sign up sheet will be up Tuesday and Wednesday. (TQ –Jan 11)

MATH ENRICHMENT: Wednesday Jan 11th at Lunch - Grade 9 - Room 301, Grade 10 - Room 303, Grade 11/12 - Room 317. (MM –Jan 11)

CHESS CLUB: There will be a meeting for anyone interested in joining the chess club on Thursday January 12 at lunch in room 234. Please see Mr. Sweeney if you cannot attend. (SS –Jan 12)

REACH FOR THE TOP: Reach for the Top on Thursday, January 12. New members are always welcome! Bring your lunch to Room 235 at the beginning of 7/8 lunch. (TC –Jan 12)

7/8 STUDENT COUNCIL: There will be a Grade 7/8 Student Council meeting on Monday, January 16 at the beginning of 7/8 lunch. Come to Room 235!!! (TC –Jan 16)

HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

REACH FOR THE TOP: There will be a meeting for all Reach For The Top team captains Friday, January 13th at lunch in room 307. Attendance is mandatory. The Game schedule will be handed out for the upcoming tournament. The meeting will start at 11:45. (JS –Jan 13)

STUDENT SERVICES

NIGHT SCHOOL - WINTER 2012 (FEBRUARY 21ST TO MAY 30TH) from the Ottawa-Carleton Public School Board. Registration during the day is from Monday, January 23rd to Tuesday, February 14th at 440 Albert Street from 9:00 am to 3:30pm. Evening registration is at the high school of your course’s choice (Adult High School or Merivale HS) on Monday, February 13th (6pm-7:30pm) and Tuesday, February 14th (6pm-7:30pm). Early registration is recommended as space is limited. Registration forms are available in Student Services. These forms require a signature from a parent/guardian, the student and a counsellor from our school. Once the form is completed, the original is returned to the student to take to the registration site of his/her choice for processing. (KW –Jan 22)
